progress on the new car

so i've only had this car for two weeks. 2 days after i bought it i swapped over my gravana coilovers, addco rear sway bar and toyota tails. this weekend i installed my pacesetter ceramic coated header, magnaflow cat, ebay resonator and 2.25 inch exhaust. i'm waiting for my motor mounts from turbo tech to get here. this afternoon i plan on installing the powerslot rotors and hawk pads i have sitting here. i spent way too much money on stuff from turbotech. definitely worth it though, they are awesome to deal with. i think i'm gonna drop the front another 1/2 inch to get a nice raked stance. anyways, on to the pics

here she is the day i bought her (2 weeks ago)

and this was the day after i bought it

pics in the home depot parking lot

and here's pics from this weekends project. some of the exhaust stuff was cannibalized from my other cav

reused the stock exhaust tip

sidemoldings are staying, so is the pinstripe. i'll probably keep the bowties too. i'm hoping to have the gm charger on this thing by christmas.

comments and criticism welcome. thanks for looking

i can't stand ls sport rims. i prefer 95-99 z wheels, i think they are the best looking stock wheel that ever came on a cavalier. i'll probably get some dark 17" wheels down the road, but right now i'm happy with the way the car looks. boost is next on the list of things to do

I was just about to comment on that. Those wheels look AWESOME on your car. Also agree that they are the best looking stock wheels of any cav. car looks awesome

Blew it up, build numbers coming soon

I love the look of an 02 LS Sport. Make your car proud of its owner.

the TRD kit? its still in my garage, i'm just waiting for my friend justin to come up with the money and then the kit is his. i told him that if i ever parted out that car, he got first dibs on the kit. if he decides that he doesn't want it, it will probably end up on ebay

the turbo 3 speed just wasn't cutting it. sure it was fun to drive every now and then, but on long drives gas mileage sucked. i wasn't happy with the power that it was putting out. it felt like it was still slower than my mom's stock 03 cav. so i decided to trade up and start with a better platform. plus, after watching all of airtonics' videos, i really want the gm charger.

ls sport rims are for sale. make an offer if you're interested
