^ I actually almost look like I'm working
The Finished Product:
Some more pics from a photoshoot today:
Comments, and Criticism welcome, but be nice.
There are a few things that aren't 100% just yet, but still driveable. I wont say what those things are unless they're pointed out
Thanks for looking

Tila Tequila? PPSSSSSHHH she's got nothing on me, except i'm not a porn star. and that's ok.
very nice!
only thing i would suggest is to get an aem clutch reservoir bracket. very badass car man!
Uber badass... I'm telling you guys, the Sunfire is taking this motha' over!
wow that looks particularly clean, nicely done.
Way to represent the OHV!
Looking good! Get that thing dialed in, I want to see some time slips!
nice work the setup looks perfect
as said above it it right and get some slips man
freakin sweet
but i know myself and alot of others would really like to know the numbers on that motor!!!! DYNO IT!!!!
looking good!!!!! BTW, if that sir filter has a metal "cap" glued to inside in middle of it, TAKE IT OFF ASAP... I have seem people ruin Turbos because of these filters.... Just a FYI How does she feel??
P&P Tuning
420.5whp / 359.8wtq
looks very nice! Where did you get the knock sensor gauge? And the pic of ur car 'on' it shows 1 psi of boost on the autometer gauge.
Does is drive alright? any signs of anything not working right.?
Nate ps--did i mentin it looks awsome,.

Hells yea! Thats sick dude.
LOOKS SICK, only thing i really really hate is the second rpm tach, why do u need 2?
thanks for the compliments guys! Its good to know that my hard work has paid off
Now for the questions:
1) filter:
not too sure, but I'm going to have a look at it as soon as I am done posting. Thanks for the headsup! I dont want to ruin this turbo THAT way
2) knock sensor gauge:
I bought mine off of ebay. Look for Casper's Knock Gauges. I think the stock sensor is too sensitive, I'm seeing phantom knock.
3) how does it feel?
It feels really really strong, like I can boost it all day. Currently running 9lbs of boost, as that is what the wastegate spring must be on the actuator. I was running around 17 degrees advance at full boost in upper RPM range, but was starting to see knock on the gauge. As I said above, I believe it is phantom knock, cause it was always happening with 11.5:1AFR, and you cannot hear any sign of ping. So we pulled it back to around 10 degrees advance at full boost in the upper RPM range. Not as much power, and you can definately tell. Now that I'm running 92, I'm going to try putting a bit more timing back in, and see if she wakes up a little bit.
the OHV guys were right about idling my 750cc injectors. Its really hard to do, and I am running them at a very low fuel pressure
4) does it drive alright?
yeah it drives awesome, it pulls and pulls and pulls up to redline. I love the Team Green LSD too, makes it so easy to break the ass end loose.
5) signs of things not working right?
right now I'm having issues with my IAC. I've 'blown' 2 of them. it was giving me a high idle, and wouldn't come down. So i switched it for another one. That one screwed up, so I just switched it back to the original and it works well now.
I've already broken an axle, but that was my own fault. Hard left turn at WOT from a dead stop and BANG.. good thing I've got lifetime warranty on it.
the Holley Commander is so easy to tune with, I love it for that. My only thing is the length of time I have to wait for the changes I make to take effect. Usually about a minute or so while the car is running.
One more thing that wasn't working right... The turbo.. It was seeing too much oil flow. The inline air restrictor I used was NOT enough to keep the oil in the center section. It was leaking past on the hot side and smoking out the back when I would let off. So, I had to get a hold of a restricted fitting for the inlet side. All is well now. I believe.
6) boost gauge says 1lb of boost with the lights on:
what youre seeing there is the fact that the gauge had not been hooked up to a vacuum/boost source for over a year or two. It had never been brought into the vacuum side of the dial until I started the new engine the first time. It now returns back to around 0 when I shut the car off.
7) how much power? dyno? track times?
they're all coming soon. I doubt I'll see a dyno this year, as I've finally run myself out of money. lol. Lee put down 231whp on his 2200 at 8lbs of boost. I'm running lower compression, slightly more aggressive cam, spark control, and fuel control. I don't know what I'm making, but I'd take a stab at anywhere around 205-220 give or take. (flamesuit is on) that is only at 9lbs of boost. I'm hoping to hit 15lbs before the end of the year.
I am still breaking the motor in, and even though its seeing consistent top RPM pulls with full load, I can't bring myself to turning up the boost just yet. Its my baby, and I dont want to break it just yet.
keep em coming guys
second tachometer:
my stock gauges do not work with my standalone
I converted to a 1993 2.2OHV DIS module, and it is not compatible with my stock computer.
The stock computer doesn't know the car is running, so not even my speedo works. Thank god the gas gauge still works, thats about all though.
I'll be doing a custom gauge cluster in the near future, and the tach will go there once its complete.
if thats the case then yes i LOVE everything about your sunfire
Very very very clean install. Looks factory
thanks, I was going for something like that

to achieve that number on the dyno ..... and they aren't always perfectly correct either...I was running lean...... we all know that lean will show more hp and be less safe.......... so your estimate of 220 give or take is probably a little lean..... I bet your making more.......
Good luck to you ..... oh .... BTW.... Im so jealious.... your list is sooooo much longer....
