you guys got any ideas how i can clean the engine bay w/o jerking the engine out? lmao

Re: dirty ecotec

I used good ol' elbow grease... If you wanna have all the hoses shine really nicely then spray heavy ammounts of Armor All on to the engine parts while the engine is running and hot... let it sit for about 5-10 minutes and wipe off the excess... turn off the engine too... you can use just about anything to clean up in there. Watch out for electrical stuff...

Simple green... super concentrated solution with some water...

Spray it on all over the freaking place.. Let is soak for a good 15 mins or so. Take hose and spray it off with a hose. If your intake filter is exposed wrap a plastic bag over it. Do this when the engine is cool.

7 years old dosn't look to bad eh? Then hit all your hoses with some armor all. I hit it on everything thats shiney except my intake which i used windex.

[quote=Ozzie]that header looks horrible

I have the armor coated Pacesetter sitting in my basement..along with everything new from header back. I am just waiting to get into the RDFABS shop when there is room. Chris's turbo went Shot Ski and needs to be rebuilt so his car is top priority right now with a show on the 29th of july.
