Since it is the 4th of July...

Those are fins of old planes used in wars. A veteran's memorial.

How did these got in there?
I know how we all love Vettes. lol
BTW it is bye-bye now.

BOOSTED wrote:nice man, whered you get the rk rear and front lip? i dont see them on rk's site for the gt's

Thanks boosted! I don't have RKS' front lip only the rear. And I bought it from Karo... Carcustoms.net in March 2005. Wish Karo sold more stuff. lol

WHITECAVY wrote:NIce car, bout time you post pics of it

lol. Ya, I finally came around to doing it. I oughta post on the white S/f too, the car that started it all with me and show pics of the minor details, which I am all about.
Thanks WC!

MikeGT wrote:Hate the headlight covers.

Thanks Mike! lol No love for the covers, they are there because they protect the headlights mostly. And the fact it is black it matches the Red/Black scheme that I have going on and the fact it has 2 circles, it matches the fog/turn signal lights.

LarryMartin830 wrote:wow i really like the sunfire but the head light covers got to go

Thanks LM! lol another one with no love for the covers lol They are staying unless Hella will ever make those projectors.
In fact I want to buy the same covers again since these has like 6 yrs on them (used it on the white S/F) and has some slight scuff marks.

RkSport 2003 wrote:Looks great G.T!!! Nice shots!

Thanks RK! I am going to have to look for more places where to take photo shoots.

EnviouZ wrote:Noice! is that a real (factory) red S/f interior swap or did you just paint?

Thank Envi!! No, the red interior is not from red interiored S/F. It is painted (took me 2 weeks). I tried to get it as color-matched as possible, the clear coat is Satin so it does look tacky, shiny, errr cheap. The idea was to get a factory look . After 3 years, still looks like the way i finished it.

Thanks 03!

Jackalope wrote:Not a fan of the headlight covers but other then that the car looks damn good man!

Thanks Jack! lol Another one with no love for the covers. But I try hard to pick and choose the pieces that will go into the car, all of which is worth it.

STYLEZ24 wrote:headlight covers gotta go... and paint those lips.. looks good man

Thanks Style! The covers stay! The lip IS painted, I painted it Satin black, to follow the red/black scheme with a European/DTM flair.

Jcavi (JoeDM in training) wrote:I think the headlight covers look great. they have a differnet look to them.

Thanks Jcavi, finally somebody with some love for the covers. lol You see far and beyond the norm.

J-TECH tuner wrote:were did u get that QUAD 4 supercharger?

If you are not kidding... That s/c is for the LD9, the Quad4 HO cover, I put in, since it is in the family of Quads and it looks really good too.

cannon fodder wrote:the cavalier door moldings actually look pretty good on there. nice and clean, i like it.

Thanks Cannon! Yhea the cavy molding actually serve a purpose for door dings and while still looking good too.

Again a million thanks guys. I did not think it would get any acceptance as it is not wild as some. I will see if I can post my old S/F and some details that went into the GT.

Thanks SIR. Like wise with yours.

themarin8r wrote:get some projector headlights in the same style as your headlight covers and youd be set

If they or any only make them.
The ones I was talking about were from a orange SEMA S/F made by Hella and supposedly to sold by the GM SPO section.
I'd be sure set with those as the only thing i'd do is tints..maybe.

They need to make some sort of lip for the GT's, having a blackened lip of sorts would match the whole scheme, looks great, the headlight covers im still a little inbetween with, but i see your point with them, and they dont look too bad at all. Shame there's no love in the projector area for our Sunfires.

^^Look closely and you'll see a blacken lip.
Very true on the projectors.
