Here is a small update on Anthony's project. This part has been done for a couple weeks now, but just got the pictures uploaded on my PC.




As you can see new paint in the engine bay. I think it turned out GREAT!!!!! We are currently waiting on parts. The Tial GT30R, Tial wastegate, and Tial blow off valve are at Hahn's being test fitted to there manifold. Then they will be shipped up us in Florida so we can get the motor ready to go in and be turboed. We have recieved a few new gauges, and Ecotec motor mount (thanks Karo). Well about it for now.

It was pressure washed a couple times, scrub by hand, and sanded and wet sanded. Lots of work went into prepping the engine bay.

He was thinking of doing that, but I think he decided not to. Also better move to Florida soon. It will be in Cali not long after we are done with it.

No. You spray the base coat, and then the clear coat after the base (color) is dried. This is what most cars, are done from the factory.

Not so....... A Stupid Question is one not asked ...

the paint was a clear coat over the base coat .. The painter told me he was using neson GM 1951 black.
