Well, i have a few pictures to show for now. the inspiration was a little like the '06 corvette....



its too bad that the sunfire headlight housing doesnt have as much room to get more detail into it. but this is the best we could do for now....







as you can see, the projectors are just sitting there. i didnt want to risk sending the real BOSCH projector 'till the front housing was done, so i sent a cheper low beam projector just to get the build up of the diameter. what all that is left is mounting the two projectors, building the back, and mounting the clear lens. then i will be giving an update when mounted on my car.

the two projectors are made from BOSCH. the low beam is the same exact projectors found in the new Audi TT's. they are D2S HID's and the measurements are as follows....
Max height = 3.0"
Max width = 4.0"
Max depth = 5.0"
Lens dia = 2 1/4"

the second BOSCH projectors are for the high beams and are called "BOSCH Mini’s". the measurements for those are....
Max Outer Diameter = 2 3/4"
Lens Diameter = 1 1/2"
Max depth = 3 3/4"

now remember, these are only the prototypes with out the clear lenses mounted. i need opinions on if they need to be different in any way. i have some chrome rings that we will mount on the projectors like the 'vettes on the next set we make for my buddy. i am going to send the rings to my color chroming guy to get them re-chromed in red chrome. i will keep you guys updated as these progress. as i said, next should be the backs, so i will post'em as i get'em. please ask any questions you may have at all. thank you guys.

I'm thinking that making the chrome rings would be a good option or possibly some angel eyes. Are you going to make these available and if so, how much?

yes, these will be "mass" as soon as we get everyones opinions. we will start with the 95-02 fires, then the 00-02 cavs, and so on. we will do what we can for special orders such as angel eyes and so forth, but we would like to try to stay on the main concept (due to the fact that IT is the mold).

well, it looks as if price is the next issue everyone would like to know. i will crunch some numbers and i promise you, i will post a price if i can.

I think it needs turn signals like the vett. Maybe not as big. But, I still think it needs some kind of turn signal. There are a lot of aftermarket bumpers that do not have front faceing turn signals so things always have to be modified to be legal. If turn signals could be corperated into the housing somehow then I think they would be SO much more benaficial.

I like em alot and you guys got talent for sure. but like mentioned some sorta turnsignal would be a nice addition.

Also i dont hate them but there is just sumthing i dont think ill like about em. Do they follow the sunfire lines at all? I mean seperate they look hot but on a sunfire.. i dunno if i would like the fact that the humps stick out over body line.. but ill know for sure once u get some pics of em mounted..

A well though out design. Would the 00-02 Cav light have a separate Hi and Low beam? Also would the housing include the HID setup or would that be priced separate from the housing? It would look real sharp in Carbon Fiber especially with Angel Eyes. Incorporating turn signals could be done by adding a row of LEDs across the bottem of the housing. Just a thought. All in all it looks sweet and I am interested to see the pricing for such a unique product.

Looks HOT. Good work by the way. But why does the little projector look like it's pointing way out into no where? and doesnt fit properly? Or is that just pre-production that needs to be fixed/trimmed/shaved down?
