Wait until you see the cage when we are done with it. This will be one of the sickest cages in the J. We are prepping the engine bay for paint now. Should be done in a few days (painted). Then the motor and start to go in, as well as a Hahn's manifold, Tial wastegate, Tial blow off valve, Tial GT35r turbo, Spec flywheel and clutch set-up.
Ricardo good to see you got the car dynoed. nice numbers.

That's a crazy huge intercooler.
Should be sick when it gets done.
a. Jones is doing it yet again, raising the bar to a whole new level! nice work guys, not really feeling the whole huge mouth on the bumper tho, i mean yea you see ALL of the ic but idk it just doesn't look right as of now, i'm sure painted i will change my mind lol
1st 1st gen on air.....
hey i know that car... it looks like mine! well minus the motor it had in it when i gave it to you! lookin good john!
yeah everyone, in case you didnt notice john and robert are working very hard on my car to complete a huge amount of custom fab work. from the ecotec swap, to the buit tranny, to the custom full roll cage they will be doing. as i stated before the theme of the car is time attack. if you have never heard of what a time attack car is, then look it up. I will be showing the car once it is completed as much as i used to but this rebuild is basically turning the car from a showcar to a race car. I want to blend show qaulity customization with the performance aspects of a time attack car. the car will be entered in scca time attack events upon completion... and will still be street legal and retain a full carbon interior. youll see more of the direction im going as the project furthers completion.
for now we are trying to shed some weight so all a.c. components are being stripped out. the new motorv will not have a.c. so we are ripping out all things from under the dash that went with the old a.c. setup. john and robert have also removed the wiper controls and motor which helps shed a little more wheight. plus i dont think the car will need either of these components on a race track or a showfloor. and those are the only two places you will catch this car in the future! hope you like the progress and ill post some pics of my own soon enough...
Yeah i did finally dyno the car im really happy with it and lets get this cage done so you can work on the next one for me
Those numbers were without nitrous i decided to get an intercooler sprayer oh and by the way at 6psi with that pump and injectors my afr was in the 12's in boost the pump raised my fuel pressure to 60psi. So it was actually good i was surprised.
dam that is a wiring nightmare where the dash is susposed to be , lol
looks like a fun project
good luck
look at that front bumper! WHAT DID YOU DO TO IT!!!
i love the way the car looked! hope it goes back. love the orange paint and the black two tone with cf evo hood!
man that is one sick car.. sounds like fun racing it too
Um..... wow. That looks menacing as hell. Much better than a cell phone pic.
Keep us posted John and Anthony... um, Time Attack eh? News to my ears. Do tell?

So is A Dot learning where all the wires go?
Nice to see the progress. Hopefully in the end that rig will be as meanacing as it has always looked!

Performance cars do not win car shows and show cars do not win races.
It's up to you to decide which you'd rather win.
NICE!
The bumper barely resembles a BC2 anymore LOL That IC is huge
