JBO member Nick dropped off his car with me a few weeks ago. He brought a turbo increadibly too large for his car so I traded him for one of my own, it's pretty much a T3 super 60 but ball bearing with a ceramic turbine shaft. It came from an R32 Skyline Type-M. It uses a 6 bolt downpipe flange, the downpipe I made for him has a devided outlet with an extra tube for an external wastegate that meets with the downpipea few inches down for a smoother flow. Around the front it is pretty tight. I ran the hot charge pipe straight down with some pretty tricky bends around the fan and kept it as far from the downpipe as possible. The cold side you can see in the pictures. The skyline uses a 12mmx1.25 thread pattern for the oil feed so I modified a harley brake line banjo fitting with a 3an out and drill a hole through a 12x1.25 bolts, and grinded off the threads near the head. After the downpipe I made him a full mandrel bent 2.5" exhaust system with a thrush resonator and a magaflow straight-through muffler for the best flow and sound possible. He brought an HKS ssqv blow-off valve from his brother's old set-up as well as his old exploited manifold, but that is all the two kits shared. For fuel I installed Z24 injectors and a cartech fmu with all braided stainless lines. The oil feed goes from 4an to 3an using a nitrous jet as a restrictor where the line adapts. I made all of the 2.5" mandrel bent charge pipes connecting the rather large bar and plate fmic.
That is all I can think of right now. On with the teaser pictures that barely show a blurry dark engine bay:
By the demand of the gods themselves.... I bring boost to the.
Check the FMIC.
That is all you get for now.

Boosted OHVs are teh SICK!
Nice job man and great pose!
................Which car will hit 400 whp first???................
awesome work,
I ran the 'hot' side of the chargepipe the exact same way.
I've got the downpipe header wrapped, and the chargepipe in 'cool tape' to keep respective temperatures where they need to be
looks great, we need more pics!!
as a new proud owner(not even a week) of a boosted 2200, i welcome thee!
I ran the chargepipe that way i think i was one of the first. Its the cleanest way to me the car looks good lets get it to the dyno 2200 are the best. lol
Yes, muuuuuuch cleaner that way. I'm just waiting for Nick to come back to my place with his oil dipstick so we can run it.
More pictures tomorrow I guess since I have nothing better to do.
