Very nice!
a new look coming in summer 2006
You tease!!! I like the color.
Rest In Peace, Saint.
Truth > God
that color looks sweet....now finish the rest of it lol
RIP JESSE GERARD.....Youll always be in my thoughts and prayers...
oh but i think i would put a little more on the rest of the car before clear so it matches better
Maybe its just the pics, but the body filler kindo looks like it needs to be sanded a little more on the sides, but again, that could just be the pics playing tricks on my eyes. I really like the colour choices though, looks really good.
dude holly over spray batman!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
great color choice
Thanks for the kind words everyone! Now to clear some questions:
Body is smooth as a baby's butt
pics were takin right after paint had dried, no clear or wetsanding done..that might have something to do with the rough look in the pics...i assure it will be smooth though!
As for all the crazy overspray of black. The black is getting covered with carbon fiber and overspray was to make sure that when we paint the rest blue, that we wont have a hard line to sand out
hope that answers some of the issues
Are you doing Carbon up to the edge of the wide body? That is gonna be hot. Can't wait to see it done. You got a long ways to go. Good luck with it all. When is your expected finish day and when are we gonna be able to see the final pics?
looks good, but looks like i need to repaint my car with everyone painting theirs daytona blue...
R.I.P. Brian Klocke, you will never be forgotten
David: Yup, right up to the widebody with c/f..at least thats the plan as of now. In the process of moving to a new house right now but I'm hoping to have the exterior mostly complete in around a month or so.

lol.. it's definately making me reconsider a variation of this color... but you have to admit, the color is dead sexy. If it wasn't, it wouldn't be on your car
ya im lookin for a color as well for m;y car now and am really think the daytona blue..
how the hell r u gonna put the door back on without breaking where u molded ur fender to ur sideskirt?
looks good, cant wait to see it done!
1996 Chevrolet Cavalier SOLD | 2002 BMW 330i SOLD | 2004 BMW 645i
Orlando: Same way they came off, very carefully
Glad everyone seems to like it, keep the comments comin!
looking good man.
keep us posted.
i'm baaaaack!!
i cant wait to see that @!#$ .. gonna be amazing
James (Rolin19s) , that car is so nice! I love the dark red and silver line dividing the two colors..props on the work
Small update, clear has been sprayed over all the jams, engine bay is painted and cleared, underside of trunk is finished, interior is back together, and doors are back on the car. Really wish I had gotten pics of everything, but forgot the camera. The to-do list for the exterior work is shrinking really quickly and I couldn't be happier
1) Finish Sparco door install
2) Lay Carbon Fiber
3) Finish off with Daytona Blue
I'll try to get some pics of everything in the next few days
