Nothing spectacular..but she got a spring clean :)

Still a semester left in college so no full time job, hence no heavy modding but still enough time for a good wash and wax. Mirrors are getting sanded, primed and painted in 2 weeks when spring semester ends. Going to attempt to Reupholster the seats because the cheap covers fit like a mini-skirt on a fat chick...bursting at all the seams and starting to wear. And all you get lowered posters, just read the first line

Makes me wonder if you guys in college are even paying for it yourselves Rutgers really knows how to empty your pockets fast ontop of monthly appartment electric and water bills. Soon as I'm out things will start to change alot faster..

clear corners are a nice starting touch for your color (it's my color too ). I think the next thing you should do is shave the emblems, then I would lower it and give 'er some rims. Tint wouldn't hurt, and painting the mirrors & handles body color would be good too.

Side mirrors aren't my style, but if you like 'em that's all that matters.

Old Camera finally bit the dust and I don't feel like making a new thread. All in all I'm very happy with the S3 IS, it really brings out the dirt on the car . Currently on the waiting list at the local painters, looks like the first week of October she may be getting the new bumpers on. I'm not holding my breath though.

Oh geez. I HATE those mirrors. The design is terrible. They sit up so crooked. I bought a power set, installed them

& then they sat SO CROOKED (like that) I couldn't even see out of them at all. Then I threw them away.

The only ones I have seen that sit correctly are the Genuine APC ones.

Good luck with the car.

Yes, it's my REAL car. No, it is NOT photoshopped or "this is how my car will look someday". It's the REAL DEAL.

W00t W00t to modding on a college kid budget. Hope you've got a real jerb now though.

Modding in college all depends on how broke you want to be. Personally I'll eat ramen noodles a lot to have the privilege of requiring 93 octane.

Thanks for the comments, the photo was put up as more of a teaser (new camera & body work to come).

[Kevin] Unfortunately I came to the same realization after putting on those mirrors for a few days which was after the original photos. The stock mirrors went back on painted the body color. The Erebuni mirrors fit like ass and didn't have a good view out the drivers side no matter how they were shimmed. Learn from the mistakes I guess, Erebuni stated they did not sell brackets for the coupe and I never got around to fixing the ones I had.

[Tracer] I was waiting until the new body work comes in but I may give it a shot this weekend. I've got a couple of 6am-6pm shifts coming up, and I don't want to subject everyone to driveway shots. It's really not that different from before, except for the rims/drop/sound system.

[Prowler] Trust me, it's totally worth it. Looking back at the A310 I was using, I can't see how I was even able to get it in focus. Now I've got aperture shutter flash and loads of balance settings to play with.

[Kflo] Yeah, college budget was tight but I've been free and clear since last May. Been through three motorcycles, car mods and plenty of other toys. Already begun saving for a house, if I could only stop spending money on the useless little things..

Those rims look good. All the motercycles I ever had did was dip into my modding buget but it was worth it.

Been really busy lately, and the weathers been so nice I don't drive it to work much anymore. Yes the seat covers are long gone, white dash is redone and all blue interior trim is black, not to mention the sub enclosure behind the rear seat is finished.

Unfortunately the buddy club kit is still sitting in the basement sanded and prepped with primer. I nearly shoved the side skirt up the painters ass after he told me to "come back in 2 weeks, then we can schedule you". A little back story, I've been to him 4 times now and its been the same answer, yet new damaged cars are always in the lot. Already found another reputable place locally that I'm checking out on Monday.

Hey man your car looks good. Should look into a 00-02 LS sport spoiler for it! I am kinda biased on the spoiler though since thats what I have. Looking good though and I have i have the same exhaust on my 01 Indigo Blue Cavalier.
