Makin some progress...........
Thursday, April 27, 2006 8:03 PM
Got my bumper back and installed, they want me to bring it by the shop when my car is on the road and let them wheel it out still, they wanted it mounted on the car so they could do it right. I think it came out good, and it looks a HELL OF ALOT better!! Also my AIR MANAGEMENT came in while I was in NYC, ALL EXCEPT the VALVES, DAMN IT! BACKORDER, so now I have all new parts I cannot install, but I'm working on what I can, I miss my car so much, and I got 3 weeks to get it ready for the Oaktown Show. Anyway here are the pics.

A little Carbon Fiber Radiator shroud goin on. Also I almost got all the blue loom from under the hood out of there, does not go well with all the CF, and my Billet engine covers should be here soon.

Also I'm rebraiding all my hoses, the air intake breather hose is new, and it makes the rest look REALLY DULL, so I will redo them all, they have been on there for 4 years.

Also test fitted the gauge pod, and air gauges. Need to dye it Charchol Grey to match, and then I'll run the lines for that and have it ready to go.

Holding it in place to get a feel for it.

Before: Last summer

After: Still need to re-polish my intake and valve cover. Also I'm waiting for Billet caps for my Oil/Brake/Coolant/Power Steering/Washer tanks.

Notice the prop rod for the hood is gone, NO MORE LOOM! Painted the coolant tank to match, rebraided all the hoses.

Waiting on valves............still.

Here is what will be installed.

5 gal Chrome tank
Viair 450C compressor
8 3/8" SMC Valves
1/2" fittings and line
10 switch blue tinted switchbox
Easystreet Rear sleeve bags (already on)
AIM front strut bags (already on)
1/8" line for guages
2 dual needle Viair white face guages

I have to have it installed by the 19th. I hope my valves are in soon.

Got my fittings today..........

Started to plub everything, the Valves were shipped out today also, so this weekend should be NICE!!

Here is the MANIFOLD for the air lines I started on. All will be under a false floor. I'm not mounting the valves to the tank.

I know the red top is a higher end deep cycle battery, but I think it would look nicer with a C/F Cover if they will even fit over it. Other than that, I think it looks amazing!

Good luck with your install... praying for no leeks!

It's looking good man. All you need now is a turbocharger and a real triple pod.

I'm gonna get some wood and make a panel to fit in there nicely and mount it all to the wood.

Got the valves today, and worked on them for 2 hours getting them all ready for the air lines.

you all "SHUOLD " see finished pics with it SLAMMED by Sunday, I gotta get the lines in there and a few minor details, then I can test it for leaks, after that the finish work will begin to make it all look pretty. But I atleast want it on the ground off the DAMN jackstands by Sunday, it has been on them since January, I dropped the ball this winter and let time fly, now everyone is enjoying their rides and I'm still in the garage. I have Sunday,Tuesday and Wednesday off, so NEXT weekend it should be pretty much finished with trim panels, and there is another surprise I ordered last week that I have to install next week.

Hint: Includes removeing the APC racing seats.
