I found some door sills that were made out of plastic or was a little expensive. so i had a machine shop make a pair out of some aluminum. excuse the mess.
i like the outcome. i have to sand it down a little more, and undecided about painting the "Z24". i think it looks good just like it is.

It was actually done out of a favor. but it took about and hour to do the template and maybe 30 minutes to engrave and cut to size. shop time runs about $60 an hour at this shop. i was day-dreaming a little, thinking about trying to do a group purchase, but found out that the boss didn't like the job being done. as for the "EcoLovers", all i did was took a few pictures of "Z24" and found the right size i wanted and took it to a machine shop. i'am sure the same can be done. thanks for the comments, kc
