why does it sound like your shifting way early in 3rd?

QBE, I shift at 6k, although my exhaust note doesn't change much in third for some reason.
It used to feel great shifting at 6500, feels like it has power up there but it's slower. I think the GM tune pulls timing up that high in the rpm band so people don't rev the crap out of these engines. For example last time out shifting at 6400 I kept running 14.7's
Started shifting at 6k and my traps went up 1.5mph and I ran 14.2's Whatever lol
Oh BTW, camera guy was in training. First time ever operating I was glad to have some vid at all. Considering I can't record myself from the exterior

nice runs! i'm just curious... have you scanned the car while running the smaller pulley? if not, you may be losing power up top due to knock... i know it's a problem with the 3800 s/c and smaller pullies... just a thought.

wow, your cameraman SUCKS, but congrats again on breaking 13's... something's very wrong if you've got to shift at 6K... that blower should be able to pull all the way to 7K with no problem.
