This is the 92 i bought as my beater, i got it for $500 off ebay, replaced the fuel pump and it fired right up after sitting for 2 years. It has a lot of new parts all stock, only performance thing is the plenum is ported and polished. Im having a problem with the idle and if anyone could offer suggestions that would be great (there a post about it in the 2nd Gen forum explaining it all )




The 03 is going to under go a lot of changes, my pile of parts just keeps growing, but right now its still in winter mode.

looks really good bruce i wish this weather would make up its mind hah ive been waiting painently to put on the wheels u sold me. Hope the car can go for paint near the end of the month but still looking for a place to paint it. I hear u on the parts just keep piling up same thing here. wish i coulda found a beater like that i need one so i dont have to drive the fire 70 miles a day hah

So what kinda parts you got lined up to install??

check your injectors on the Z...that tends to be the idle issue with them. maybe just a good tune up too. replace the plugs wires...yatta yatta. thatll fix them right up.

Scott, yea the weather cant seem to make up its mind here for some reason. The beater didnt look like that when i got it looked horrible, there was green algae or something almost completely covering the car lol.

Blue Splash: new passanger side fender, wings west big mouth front bumper, with advenger sides and a voltex rear, pacesetter header and a trunk ready to be shaved. I still have to get a different hood, 00-02 black headlights, and a set of cobalt tail lights a new wing and a set of 18s and anything else that comes to mind

yeah injectors on the 2nd gens were nortorious for goign bad

you can ohm test them with a multimeter to see if they are bad or not... had to do that on a friend's 3.1 turbo grand prix.
