Mountain shots of the Z...
Thursday, March 16, 2006 5:04 PM
Here are some recent shots of the Cav...nothing new. Me and a friend decided it was too nice of a day to not go out and enjoy the weather and take some pics. These are probably only a quarter of the ones we took....enjoy.

And here are a couple attempts a the 'Phewes' shot...

This shot woulda been perfect if the yellow lines were straighter, IMHO I like how it looks 'boxed in' by the guard rails.

Yep, 16" Monsoons...

I didn't really have the time to line up the shot...I parked the car, jumped out and layed down in the road to shoot it...all while my friend was lining up his shot behind me. lol

I've always loved your car, just the one thing I'd change personally would be the wheels, theres just something about them that makes me not partial to them.

I just spent the last hour looking at RC cars, and almost unconsciously flipped to the org to kill some time. I saw these pics and thought to myself "Wow, that Cavalier RC looks really accurate"
Then I realized I was looking at a real car. But as Jarett says, it does look like a toy car.

lol I was thinkin the same thing Larry...only if I had my front wheels turned to the left.
Now that everyone mentions it...the car does look like a mini RC in that one pic.

Thanks for the kind words 1Bad02Cav.

2enthusiast4...to be honest, our cars were actually VERY close performance wise before I got the cams, header and exhaust put on. It would be no contest now though. He did put down 184whp with an intake only. I really like his car though...'05 NBP Type-S

I know I keep saying new wheels are coming, but I just can't make up my mind on what I want. I know that I will stick with these 16's though for the winter and the track.

Zach, you plan on coming to the Pigeon Forge meet this year? Check out the SouthEast region forums. All you JBOK guys need to come down again this year...we missed you guys last year.

Thanks for the comments everyone!

lmao, don't hate!! I somehow managed to drift my Cav last fall at a meet Goin' thru a nasty set of snake turns in the road that I'd never gone thru before, and ended up sideways at a couple of the apexs

I'd like to know how some of you guys find these locations with no traffic around to take these kinds of shots

Looking real good as usual!!!

Meckster, when you live in the country like we do, there are some roads that people rarely travel and so you only have one car coming along ever so often. Especially if it's a scenic route...most people seem to always be in such a hurry and want to take the fastest possible way instead of the pretty way.
