i dont know...2.3 will need building(spun bearing) 2.4 was from a junkyard...it was run before taking out...ran fine

My suggestion, replace the timing chain/guide/tensioner/water pump and head gasket while its out. I shouldnt take you more than an hour to dissassemble it, its worth the time and money.

well with the 2.4 i got a complete gasket kit....so im gonan put all those in...and ill be replacing and cleaning a bunch of things
