Hey,
I was working on my new interior but since I ran out of money and plan on keeping the stock stuff, I decided to put the stock stuff back in and while doing so, I found a pontiac badge that I had pulled off of a car at the junkyard.
I thought it might look kinda cool to put in the armrest and so I decided to put it on there.
I just took a razor blade and cut an outline of the badge and then removed the vinyl and padding underneath. It took a little tweaking but I got it to fit in there pretty snug and flush.
If anybody wants some of it in the car, I can get some tomorrow.
Sorry bout the shadow
Let me know what you think.

cool idea but woulda looked better on the graphite interior color i think.
personally, i would have put it pointing forward.
^^ thats exactly what I did with mine, except mines fiberglassed andf its the chevy sign
I like it pointing that way, its in the direction a passenger would look at it.
neat idea

I agree but this is just temporary. The graphite interior I have sitting in my basement will be the one getting painted.

I was debating that but decided to put it the way that I can see it.

I think you put it the right direction. If someone is in the backseat and you have to get into the center console, when you flip it open the are like, "OH CRAP! We are in a Pontiac!" Because, if you would have done it upside down, the people in the back would be like... "What the crap is that center console pointing at? Well, lets look. *look* Yup, nothing."
Good call on the direction, and neat idea.
And Tony, um..... yeah. We can agree to disagree.

^^ i agree direction is fine
would look better on graphite interior, but you don't have it, and it still looks good on the beige, can't fault you on that
I work on Wall Street, but didn't force you to take out a loan you couldn't afford.

I think, depending on how I like it being there, that I'll put it on my painted one when i get it in there too.

Keep it if you like it. Don't worry what others think.

Looks great, but uncomfortable.
I tend to always use my armrest to much.

I use mine all the time. The place where it is almost never touches my arm, and if it does, it is recessed in the armrest so you hardly feel it at all.
