Bye bye Drift hello type J....
Saturday, March 11, 2006 11:04 AM
Well i finally got around to fitting my front bumper and side skirts today. The fitment was excellent. I had to do some trimming to get it to fit and i used the aluminum brackets that came with the kit. I know the intercooler isnt centered completely but im going to move it to the right about 2 inches when i take off my metal bumper brace and paint it black. The kits going to get painted here in the next month along with my new trunk lid and maybe a Rk ram air hood. Oh yea i also got my turbo xs dual boost controller the other day. Turbos going to be put on in about 3 weeks if the weather stays nice here in PA. Let me know what you think.

BC2 > Drift > everything else > type J

sorry not fan of the bumper.... I'm so tired of seeing that kit over and over and over and over and over everywhere..

**puts on flame suit** so dip@!#$s can call me names because all the j-body kits are common

turbo is good though

The main reason i decided on the type j kit is because it isnt nearly as low as any other kit and here in PA the roads are horrible and i know i had alot of problems with my drift kit scraping. Plus it was the only other urethane kit out there besides the Bomex and i think that kit is the uglyist kit invented.

The intercooler piping is just there and not hooked to the tb or the turbo. I jus wanted to get everything mocked up so i could have more time to tune the car once i get everything hooked up since the car is my daily driver. All i have left to do for the turbo is install the fuel setup, attach the manifold and turbo, vacuum setup and some other little things and tune and go. I didnt want to try and rush and get it all done in one weekend.
