Does anyone have 2004/2005 Cav 2.2 with stock exhaust with the only the muffler removed, straight pipe or tip out the end, no after market mufflers or resonated tips.
I have a fireball style exhaust (long and big) and I don't like the look or sound, so I was thinking about removing it, and placing only a nice chrome dual tip out the back. I would like to hear it (idle, rev, and take off) before I spend the money on it.

I forgot the name of the damn site that has free vid hosting, but once some1 posts it up, I can upload the vids. Two of 'em have a lot of windnoise b/c I had the camera outside the car while I was driving, but the third was just neutral revving.

That is going to sound like ass. Complete ass. It's going to be super raspy, it's not the same on an inline 4 as it is on a v8, don't bother wasting your time - get a proper setup.
