just giving a update for Jay on his polished compressor housing. heres about 2 hours worth of work. im hoping to finish it up tonight or tommorow and have it shipped by fri or mon....

Looks amazing. I take it your using like 150 grit and working your way up. I think im going to start on my turbo tomorrow and my fuel rail also. I love that polished look. Keep up the good work.

heres the finished project. i wanted to go a little farther but i ran out of time and i wanted to ship the housing by sat. enjoy..........

by the way the housing is almost impossible to get a good pic and looks so awesome in person....

To get as shiny as i did your going to need some sort of polish compound. I used mothers mag and aluminum polish. also i went from 220 up to 2000 grit then i polished it. all in all about 5-6 hrs of work, but i have fun doing it so i dont mind. another thing you can use is the sanding wheel for a dremel. they look like little sponges and do an awesome job for when you first start on it. i suggest doing that too (did all of mine by hand)
