Airtonics's Ractive exhaust.... Installation PICS

Well the exhaust is finally done...

Some pics of the parts before the install...

To start I had to make a larger downpipe than the one supplied with the header... so I mimicked theirs with 2.5" stainless and had an exhaust shop flare the end.

Another picture of the opening size difference, let alone the end of the pipe difference.

Header and stock manifolded collector difference...

Header installed.... oh so pretty

Exhaust bends from resonator, over axle to muffler.

Downpipe, flex bellow, resonator, with secondary 02 sensor mounted.

Magnaflow muffler with the stock exhaust clamp mounted to it.

Using another stock mount just before the bend over the axle.

Poor pic of the muffler mounted up

Few pictures of the exhaust all mounted up:

Exhaust tip welded up

Exhaust tip mounted

Lastly the exhaust tip/rear bumper....

The exhaust is quiet at idle, somewhat loud at low/mid rpm with partial throttle and LOUD at WOT. Louder than I'd like it to be. It's a lil raspy but doesn't pop when letting the engine rev down (big pet peve if it did).

I'll get some vids up later, after the damn near foot of snow we just got I'm not about to make any vids yet :p.

One video was taken but the exhaust tip was not on it yet and it was partially inside so it sounds funny.

Exhaust Vid

I'm glad to have this done, I can feel a nice difference up in the higher rpm band. Can't wait to see some results at the track

Code? What are you talking about, don't you see that O2 sensor is right behind the cat

Oh I forgot to mention, every piece of this exhaust is 2.5" stainless steel. The bends are T309 and the muffler, tip, resonator, flex bellow and straight tubing are T304.

The exhaust sounds like my anus on my laptop. No biggie. It will sound better when I hear it on my computer back home.

Excellent job Jon. I wish I could of been there to help out.

The exhaust was cold when the vid was taken, therefore it was raspy. It sounds nicer outside and when it's warmed up.

I'll get some more vids this week....

Wow nice exhaust man and props whoever did the fabrication, I really like how you tucked the muffler back in the stock position.

Ahahaha , what isnt considered rice nowadays? From Fartcannons , to no mufflers , to Magnaflow, all rice.

AIRTONICS, your exhaust set up is so nice, i wish i could say mine looked as half as good as that.

Get some video of the car when it is warm, and you flying by ASAP !

Nice setup, but i would of put a magnaflow cat in since you redid your whole exhaust. It would sound alot nicer if you did.I just put my cat back in the other day, cause it sounded like azz without one.

Looks really good man... Nice job on the install too.

I like the sound, without hitting the throttle. If that changes when Its warm, it will be much better.
