AH quad four...
i hope you know how to take care of a car...
you would have been better off getting a 2.2 for your first car

well here is my story
my cavy was a 95...
2.3 i did everything like you should and still it only lasted about 50k then it started to slowly break down until it puked and i got mad and went out and bought a 97 2.2 crashed it into a telephone pole wire support and now i have a rally sport 2.2 and a 92 2.2 NO PROBLEMS
i just port and polished my head and bored out my exaust manifold...
if your going to do any motor work that cost not all to much start with the head... i dont know about the 2.3 but its reasonable on the 2.2 anyways
YES 2.3 needs to be kept up otherwise you will regret buying it

I have one true love in my life...And my girlfriend sits next to me in it
im still on my first car, boosted and juiced 2.4 sunfire
thats deffinatly got to be a 95 instead of 94, sure youve all noticed that by now though haha
Great first car man. Pay no mind to all these people saying your car is going to break down. You said the odometer doesnt have an extra space left? so its 100k plus miles im guessing. It drove all those miles didnt it! All cars last. All cars need work when the get old too. But all cars, that arent driven by "racers" who think they know how to drive a car, do in fact last.
I wish I had such a nice first car. My first car was a 93 toyota corolla. BORING.
Anyway welcome to the forum and enjoy the car.
i had a quad 4 in my grand am broke it once real good (crankshaft) cause it had 400 000 kms and never had any other problems after that
