Well I bought a set of mirrors a few months back not knowing that convertible mirrors and couple mirrors are different. I went to put them on and was like holy crap thats not even close to fitting, they were angled up at like 90 degrees.
So........ I made a mold of some filler plates that you attatch between the mirror and the base of the mirror so that 1. it would attatch and 2. sit streight instead of it being angled up.
heres pictures i thought of making some more of these and selling them if people are interested that own convertibles---- also they still need a lil tweeking and finishing

I thought the coupe and convertiable were the same, and it was some of the e-bay mirrors that were angled up? I could very easily be wrong though. Did you get them on ebay?

no, i know what your saying though, any mirror for a cavalier that isnt a convertible...... would be angled up hardcore on a convertible the post is a different angle or something!
Those cheap ass eBay mirrors angle up on any coupe, look at pics of Ken96z's old car.

It looks like theyre gunna stick out kinda far, but thats better than having em stick up like they do and having your car fly away.

maybe its just the pics but the passenger side one looks bigger than the drivers side one
it has to be the pics, becuase its the same mold!
I know my mirrors are angled up, but I've gotten used to them. I don't think they look too bad, but that's just me

i bought the same things, they angle up on my sedan too. peices of crap. that sticks out too far tho, IMO. you gotta cut some of the mirror off where the actual mirror meets with the car with those 2 horizontal peices...maybe cut 1-1.5 inches off...thatll look sweet, IMO.
anybody want a set? ill give em away for a 12 pack of budweiser...

and this that is why supposedly $150 mirrors are sold on ebay for $30. i plan on doing something similar to the ones i have sitting in my room right now.
