Evolution of my cav (with a sad ending) No 56k

Well over on the JBOK forums they started a forum of just one random pic of your cav and through some searching I found alot of my Cav's pics from way back when. This month makes five years since I found this site (though I didn't officially join till September of 2001. Unfortunately my Cav saw an almost permanent end a couple of weeks ago. I'm still debating on what to do but it will be back sometime in April-early May. I didn't turn it in on insurance since I've had a clean record for five years so the $3,600 or so dollars to fix it back is coming out of my pocket. Anyways on to the pics.

Feburary of 2001. Closest stock pic I have of my Cav.

Sept 2001: First sub setup

May of 2002: I'm still with this girl btw, 5 years strong almost.

March of 2003: Sub-setup #2

Engine Bay shot:

April 2003:

Oct 2003: Nitrous stage, gutted interior, subs, etc.

Oct 2004: The rebirth

2005:

Dec.31,2005-Present Day

It'll be back though, by spring and its a promise. At times I just want to start all over with something new but I really do love working on my Cav. Money is a slow process when you are in college but I'll have it back, and with some minor changes. The IF front will be back and Darkstars 03 LS sides paired with another C/F hood, but for now thats all I can say.

And there it is, the evolution of my cav.

Guys seriously thanks a bunch. I think its truly comments like this that encourage me to fix my car. I am at the point in my life where I could buy a new car or a really nice used one, but I would lose having this as a DD. I never realized so many people liked my car like this so the comments is greatly appreciated. When the car is finished again it will have a somewhat toned down, more mature look overall imo. I know I have been told I should change rims, etc. but my car is plain and I know its nothing special but I guess thats why I like it. I can't say when exactly it'll be back. I know it'll be before May but don't know if it will be ready by March or April. It depends on what funds will allow.

The value of the car was outweighed by the cost to fix it back. Though it looks brand new a base 98 2.2 with 104k on the ticker isn't worth too much. Plus to me the insurance hike I would take wasn't worth it.

To make a long story short I wasn't going very fast and for some reason the rear end slid around horribly and while trying to correct it the rear wheel caught some mud turning it head first into a gaurdrail. Here's the link to the whole story.

I always thought your car was an 03 lol, my bad.

Once again guys thanks a bunch. I've been feeling like crap over this whole ordeal and this makes it a little better on me.

Nah man. The rear lip and everything is staying since I am fixing my car back. I need a new rear though because for some reason it has a hole in it which builds on my conspiracy someone hit me in the a$$. I got the LS side just so it would flow into my rear lip.
