Nice cat-back. I've got the same muffler, but with a tip about 3 inches shorter. Are you going to be running a resonator at all? Would be pretty darn loud without one.

Meh, you dont need a resonator. Its preference, I dont use one

Anyway I LOVE that magnaflow/RK exhuast on 03+ LS Sport/Z-24 Cavy's..it looks OEM
And I also HATE how the muffler tip looks on base cavy's/Sunfires

Either way, I learned from my friend's civic with a full exhaust and a test pipe and no res. and he got pulled over all the time, so I wanted quiet so I wouldn't have his problems. Now get it on your car! Doesn't make power sitting on your bed.

I DOES SO MAKE POWER ON MY BED! my girlfriend is super into cars and when ever its performance orintated she tends to get a little exicted over it. so I end up getting booty. lol.

i live in KY. We have a law that says if its louder than factory, its to loud. its a gay rule, but oh well. So im just gonna quiet it down some so its not to raspy or loud.

it goes on next week.

and i got it from RKSPort. Although I found out that Jason at A+ or Karo at CarCustoms (can't remember which one) is offerring it with free shipping. I paid $299, $333 after shipping.

awesome man. i have the same exact system on my 02, with a high flow cat and 18" res. sounds awesome, really deep growl. i love magnaflow! i had it on without a res and it sounded like crap. really loud and raspy.

not really. i have that exact same catback with no res. and its only loud over 4500 rpms. so during daily driving its not bad at all.

get a resonator as long as possible to help keep down the sound. So 24" or greater.

ive got it on my 00 sedan , and its loud and obnoxious with a header and high flow cat

it was even annoying with the stock manifold and cat , but it was quieter

if your gonna add a resonator id use 18" minimum length if your gonna use a header and high flow cat

if you dont use the long pipe that bolts up after your cat , im looking for 1

yeah i picked up just the canister part of the magnaflow cat back some one i know blew his motor on his cavi and wanted to sell it so i got it for 80 bucks. Waiting on my high flow cat and then it 2.25 all the way back. I love it deep tone and not to raspy until you get on it. Im wanting to get another one since the kit im getting has two slots for duals. I will get a pic of it here shortly.

I like how the fits up. I did a test fit earlier on it to see where it would sit at, and it looks like its right where I want it, slightly pass the bumper. but not to noticeable.
