My beast, all taken apart.

The old 2.4 comes out...

The LZM balance shaft delete kit...

All naked...

The new motor... getting some mods...

Basically waiting for the flywheel machining, LSD installation, and it'll go back together... then for stage 2 of the build. Pistons (being made), rods, headwork, standalone, and more "bolt ons".

I work on Wall Street, but didn't force you to take out a loan you couldn't afford.

Any reason why you went through the bottom? Just wondering if it was easier. When I did mine I did through the top, and now that I have a new motor going in my car now I will be doing it all over again.

Looks great!

swapping a Eco in for a LD9 for some reason I thought it was going from a 2200 to a Eco...... lol

going out and in the bottom is easier...... battery tray and brake ABS get in the way comming out the top.

ya that seems like a huge waste of money for the price of the eco swap he could have had a built ld9 and be much faster.
but go ahead and jump on the almighty eco band wagon, there is nothing a eco can do that a 2.4 couldn't have in that car .

Contact me or them, and I'll give ya the details. Their website is way out of date. They're doing the build so I hear about all the cool stuff they're developing. I believe the price is $250-300 (I cant remember exactly) and it gives a nice gain on the butt dyno throughout the RPM range.

Yup, check my classifieds postings. Most of it is already sold... The MSD setup will be for sale if I know I wont be using it with the Eco, but I'm not sure on that yet.

The cost of the swap basically equals out the extra machine work the LD9 would need and since Level Zero mainly does Eco stuff, it makes sense to do an Eco. Oh yeah, I save a few lbs and get to jump on the "almighty eco band wagon".

I bet I can piss further than you can.

Someone please make a LD9 VS. Eco thread elsewhere, sick of seeing this @!#$ in every post. AG or the War forum.

Owen got a pretty good deal on that Eco swap....... and although it isnt the way I would have gone, it has a ton of potential!
