this is on the local speed forum. its possibly one of the sickest things i've ever seen.
this guy that lives in halifax. 98 Z24. makes 264 hp. and dropped a 3800 in. he runs 12s in it. it blows my mind. he might even be on this site.

ravens been around for a while. i believe he has more hp than that now. he was one of the first few to do a 3800sc swap
he was also the first to swap in the 3.8L sc/ with a 5spd tranny if i remember correctly.

Yes you do remember correctly. There was one done before him, in an automatic in Quebec. James was the first to role in a five speed, oh the headaches, i remeber it like it was yesterday lol.

I wouldn't say it hooks up very well.
Best 60ft time is 2.0 on drag radials. The track is in the middle of farm country and is what it is, always good times though even when stuff breaks.
Still really not decided what I'm going to do with it. It will be sold if the right offer comes along but if not well....just have to wait and see.

Yeah I really wouldn't call it a race track. More like an old airport runway with a good set of timing lights. They did lay down a concrete launch pad but I haven't been back since they put it in.
