Seems like it should be tucked under the bumper more and also move up a little bit.
It's tucked under there as much as it will go. I cannot put it under there anymore. there is maybe an 1/8" clearence from the top of the muffler to the chassis of the car.

didn't already post pics of this?
this thread and the responses feel like one big dejavu
that muffler is big and the tip is LONG...............why o why did u go with that muffler
cause it was the muffler I liked and have wanted for a long time back when I had my beretta even. I wanted it so I got it. there was a pic of the muffler in with my winter pics. I feel like everytime i post something everyone has something degrading to say. I've been on this site for 2 years now and wow it's got really degrading in the past 6 or 7 months from people. b4 you would recieve compliments or helpfull comments not degrading comments.

Welcome to an open forum. People here can say anything they want and comment as long as its not threating and stays within the site rules. Face it, nobody likes that muffler. Its big, its long and its ugly. I am sorry to say it but this is my personal opinion. If you cannot deal with other peoples personal opinions, then please do not post pictures and ask for comments.
you're getting negative comments because its a gigantic muffler attached to your stock exhaust. you have to realize that it doesn't matter what other people think. as long as you like it, then you're in good shape. you shouldn't be on here looking for people's approval. how do you have it mounted? can you take a picture of how its mounted? maybe we can help you find a way to tuck it under the car more.
It needs to be pulled back about an inch, and tucked up another inch, then it would look okay. As it sits right now it looks exactly like what it is, and thats just some muffler welded up to stock piping. Here's how mine hangs:
My edge of the tip lines up perfectly with the edge of the bumper cutout, and I have about a 1/2" clearance between the tip and bumper
ooops, I meant 1" of clearance
You'll be able to work with it more once you get a aftermarket rear bumper cause that will be lower than your stock one. But for now it looks good, get us some sound clips of what it sounds like! It is kinda big, it better sound good
^^^Also, I was gonna say exactly what he said. An aftermarket bumper that hangs lower than the stock one will make it look 1000x better.
Now see I find this site funny I posted about it in the performance forum b4 I got it and people said it was a good choice and a good muffler. I get it and get dogged that really sucks. As it sits right now it's around a 1.25" from the bottom of the bumper. And really it does make me happy and it sounds really decent. Oh well I guess I will just go on and see where it goes from here. I was thinkin on doing the RKsport lip kit with the type J rear bumper I guess it's the kit. I just really dont see whats so bad about it. I guess cause it's not a borla or magnaflow or some sort of brand name cat back. To be honest it was a early christmas present from my girlfriend. All I know is I like it and it sounds awesome and thats what matters to me. I just wish people would be a lil more supportive of things.

I personally think it looks good for just being a muffler welded up to the stock pipes, it just nees to be pulled back a little so it doesn't stick out the way it does. Believe me, I've seen alot worse.

Id love to see some of those posts.
i think the muffler body is to big for the tip, like the tip looks like it should almost be bigger lol..now i think if u had the 02 lip kit, or wtype lip kit on the rear it would kinda hide it. but like i said i think the body just makes teh tip look weird, and the tip does seem a lil long..
Brands arent what everyone responds to, its just the muffler's look. now im sure if we could hear it, some people's opinions might change if they like it or not. Hell im rocking a cheap ebay muffler.. some hate it some love it, i love it with my 2.25" catback.
lil side note: dont get pissed cuz people don't agree with ur decision. like many have said its their own opinion and urs is what counts the most. if ur posting these pics to get everyones approval its not gonna happen. Getting their approval is one thing, getting their opinion is another.. If your trying to get approval then its not really ur ride.. ur just paying for it.. if ur getting their opinion u can say o well, my damn car.. and they can't do much about it on here.. Doesnt matter how long uve been on here, ur attitude is what people respond to.
Yea true. this is an ebay muffler as well. I really like the RK sport lip kit and want to go with it. I think that will take care of it. thanks for the encouragment. I mean i'm more than happy not any rasp very deep not loud but noticable tone. I hope it doesnt get crazy when I get my OBX 4-1 header and dynomax Cat and thrush glasspack with 2.25 piping.

I think that maybe it it would've had more of an angled tip or something maybe it would look better, too. But I think that what makes it look so "wow, look at me, you can
really see me" is that you don't have a kit or lip or anything. So posts some more pics of it after you get that (if you decide to) and I'm sure it won't look so huge and obvious. Mine isn't small, but you can't see it cause of my BC2 rear.
And believe me, you have to be able to hold your own around here. Maybe back in the day it wasn't as "harsh" on here but now people just deck it out to ya, so you have to be ready to take it. When I post, I expect negative comments. That way, when I get a few positive ones, I'm more excited about it. LOL And sometimes there is "constructive criticism"...so keep your eyes peeled for that, too.
tuck it up and under and i think it would look fine
get a rear lip to frame it and I think it'd look damn good
but dont leave it hanging so low and sticking out so far... it looks crappy
muffler = nice
mounting = crap
When you do get around to getting your 2.25 inch piping you may not like it as much. When I had a straight threw muffler with my 2.25inch piping it was amazing how loud it was and i switched to a Dyno max and now i am more then satisfied.
I have one true love in my life...And my girlfriend sits next to me in it

That's because there are alot more opinionated people who come into the Photos & Media forum who don't necessarily come into the Performance forum.
Also, a picture of an ad and a real life picture don't compare...I don't think everyone knew how big that muffler was in compared to your car.
Now in all honesty, it is what you like but I think as time pasts you will see that it does look out of place. I've been there myself. I had these huge quad tips that poked out a mile behind my bumper and used to think they were hot but when I finally switched them out for some magnaflow mufflers and single tips, I realized what a HUGE mistake I made before hand.
