We still dont know what to do with the center piece. But its a start.

Oh, and the tailight outers are not painted or vynled. I found another car tails that work almost perfectly. You can see where its alittle off from where it should be.

i dont recal any fords with tails like that. the closest i can think of is a contour or escort, but those dont match either.

I really dont know other then Ford. There was a ford emblem next to them, and that was it. Ill take closer pics tonight when i get out of work, maybe that will help.

were they actually on a ford vehicle? or just labeled as ford parts. because people are stupid, lol. i had a cop write me a ticket for a ford focus once. they're probably modified sunfire tails that were marked as something else because the people there diddnt have a clue what they went to.

i dont know what you've got there, but for them to fit that well and line up that well with your trunk bezel, they have to be GM.

I smell . Those HAVE to be sunfire tails, possibly modified by someone to look like that, but there is now way another cars tails would bolt & line up line that. The lines are perfect, impossible to be from a ford.

Well , you could be right. I gotta them at a junkyard. And the rear of the car said ford.

But then again, we do have some jbody owners who have police interceptor badges on their cars. So maybe its just miss badging. There is no front of the car for me to even guess what it was.

Ford Taurus wagon. I've actually looked at a different year of those as well as the Mercury Sable wagon thinking they might fit. I actually believe someone else on here has used a different year Taurus tail (they have a horizontal line dividing them instead of the two verticals).

Yeah, not exact, but damn close. They also come in a red/amber like that, which would make a fairly cool conversion.

hmmm....look like they would have to be sunfire or cav outers...

actually... they cant even be cav outers... they have to be sunfire outers.... because cav outers sit flush to the 1/4 panel. the only tail lights that dont sit flush to the 1/4 panel are 03-05 cav tails and all sunfire sedan tails. they cant be 03-05 cav tails because they dont have the two 3d circles on them. they are modified sunfire sedan tails. have to be. i would bet anything on it.

I went back to medford autowreckers, and taked with one of the runners. They were modified sunfire tails Pushed into a a ford hatchback tail end. The rest of the sunfire was crushed about 2 years ago.
