Looks pretty sweet! No broken links either! Deff not a fan of chrome mirrirs though......
So you painting it maroon and gold?
1971 camaro 427 --- here!
Stock... and loving every minute of it.
Ah, the mirrors will DEFINITELY be painted.
And, no, it won't be maroon OR gold. I'm not giving that away until after it's painted and then I'll
show everyone what color I'm painting it!!
I can't wait for that! But it'll be a while. Got
a lot of work to be done.
looks good, what happened to the graphic on the sides?
Looks hot, love the changes. can't wait to see what color you choose.

Hey, thanks for the compliment! We sanded off the graphic that was going down the sides because we got tired of looking at it and hopefully we'll be shaving the handles and locks soon so it would've had to come off sooner or later anyways. I'm one of those people that get tired of things really quick. LOL There is SO much that I'm already tired of on my car (front and rear bumpers, the flat black look..., the front and rear bumpers...LOL). It'll change, though.

Thanks!
If I were you, I would def. keep the back bumper because, imo, it's one of the best looking rears for a cavalier. The front could probably go
. I've just never loved that front for any car. Everything else looks great. I was iffy about the hood until I saw it in person at Whitesburg. I must say I do like it a lot more now! Plus, I don't think anyone else has it? Anywho, car looks great and I cannot wait to see it painted. I'm sure the color you have picked out will look amazing! GL w/ the rest of your mods!

Hey, I don't remember seeing you at Whitesburg (or your car! LOL) Were you at Freak Show?? Anyways, the reason that I want to get rid of the rear is because it is so low and I have to keep the coilovers up pretty high and the corners of the bumper STILL drag! I want a urethane front like possibly the type-j cause I drag it all the time, too. There are a few other people that have my hood, but not too many. That's why I like it, too. Well, thanks for the compliments. Would've liked to meet you in Kentucky.

Whenever I went by to look at your car, you weren't there or I would have said hi. I was there in my car but I didn't enter my car. I didn't get to make it to the Freak Show this year. I can understand about the rear being low. I have a friend who has it and he has literally dragged his off his car a few times. Can't blame you for wanting a urethane front though.. I HAD to switch to an Avenger front. I have the Type J rear right now. If you wanted to trade the Type J rear for your rear, I would be up for it. The Type J doesn't quite line up with my side skirts. I assume the license plate hole on the Type J could be filled in? Anyway, let me know if you'd be up for it!! I would have liked to have met you also. I guess there's always next year though.

cars lookin good.....where do you live!? its so beautiful there! cant wait to see all the changes....=)
R.I.P. Kasey N. Burleson
Snowball (Kacie), those pics were taken in both Virginia and West Virginia. I kinda live on the border.
Thanks for the comments guys and gals, keep 'em coming!
not to sound like a queer, but its so pretty there.. LOL
awesome pics those are some really great backdrops. im still really interested in your rear bumper. when you wanna sell it shoot me an email with a price.
Chris, you don't say gay....it is pretty here. LOL
ACav2Envy, I'll probably be holding onto this bumper and buying a new one and molding some type of reverse lights into it and shaving the tag on it indoors. When the new one is ready to be put on, I'll sell this one. I feel like kicking myself for selling my Z24 kit.
its not bad... i try not to judge cars until they're finished though. i personally hate frenched plates and shaved inners... and i dont understand half the purpose of that hood design... but overall its a pretty nice looking car. im sure once its painted it'll be hot.
The shadows were not your friend that day
I am all that is man
ESB, I had a lot of pics and I think I purposely picked the ones that were shadowed cause the ones that weren't showed the HUGE place down the side of the car where we sanded off the painted graphics and primered over it, but the primer didn't exactly match up. LOL
You can still see it in some that I posted here, too.
l'm suree the mirriors will go with the colour you plan on painting....
But l sure do miss your old Cavi....l'm sure with time this will will surpass it but that a big hill to climb...
Good Luck Crystal..
Yeah I spotted the primer stuff.
So what or those tall things in the background anyway?
Is that what they call a hill?
We dont get to many of those in Houston
I am all that is man
Zspot Zedden, as I said, I am going to paint the mirrors body color when the time for paint comes. I miss my old kandy green cav, too, but hopefully, this one will be better.
ESB, yeah, those are HILLS and MOUNTAINS.
solid_archer, thanks.
alo of work to do still? youve been saying that forever get it done and painted already
Yeah, when your car is a daily driver and you only have the weekend and evenings to work on it and no garage and not much money, and you don't want to pay someone else to do something cause you know that you can do it yourself, it's a slow process. And since the time change we don't even have the evenings to work on it cause it gets dark so early.
But I'd rather have it moving slow as to pay someone else beaucoups of money to do it for me, ya know?
