Well when posting on the org you have to be able to take the good along with the bad.
And in my opinion....
It looks hideous.
i dont think it looks all that bad, just needs a diff hood, lowered, and front mesh and it set.
yeah i like it except the hood

Well, I def. don't think it looks hideous...
From what I can tell, the MR2 vents look pretty good.
I'd def. remove those lund hood scoops, but that's just me....
Is it possible to relocate the front tag to somewhere inside the gap in the middle of the front bumper?
Is that roof scoop molded on or just stick on?
All in all, not too bad, can't really tell much w/those pics.
vents = sweetness
hood = ugly
i'm baaaaack!!
yea those hoodscoop i just bought since i was planning on putting a cf hood on, but i didnt want to have a stock hood while i saved up, so i just bought those scoops. it had mesh, but when i repainted my front bumper i kinda ruined it. about the ride height, its at stock height because i didnt have 600 bucks for lowering springs and shocks/struts, and i really didnt want to do anything cheap to my suspension (cut springs, ebay springs, etc...)
roof scoop is molded, it is a stick on though,my painter molded on. thereason i got the platethere is because it "was not visible" in the bumpers opening and i got a 100 dollar ticket for it
Man, that sux....I had my plate there the entire time in Virginia. Ah, well....
^ the opening on the blitz, drift, type J, and almost every other bumper out there is bigger than the 03 bomex . I think the plate fits in the 95--02 bomex though. but in 03+ the plate has to be slanted, therefore it is not completely visible, like u have to be up close to read the letters.

That's one of the things I love about living here in PA. I don't have to have a front plate, lol...

Oh...I didn't know that. I learn something new everyday.
love the inside and color but ditch the hood scoops and break it up a lil, add some carbon fiber hood and a drop, that will set it off.

hrmm Its definately different Id say get a different hood not necessarily cf either... mesh in the front and air ride... that thing needs to be slammed with the others that are done to it I think an air ride set up would be the finishing touch. Just my opinioin.
hoood loooks like crap but the car is alot better than it was in the mustang bumper days

heh i remember the mustang bumper days
much improved from then
i actually had a hood on my sunfire with those vents but i molded mine in, they looked nice, my hood needs repainted so maybe ill put her back on...hmmm
just a question do you own a spray booth or is the car spray bombed every week there is something new and the paint looks exactly the same great ideas just follow through with the hood youve been saying from day one you have fixed it since the pics thats the major thing everyone catches with every post unless your car is twisted to @!#$ it shouldnt be that hard to fix
the widebody could of been done better

my uncle is a painter. he charged me 500 for painting the whole car, and he charged me 100 bucks for ading the mr2 vents and repainting the car from the 1/4 panels back. oh yea, the mustang bumper is still on there, its the rear. yea i need to get some cash for a drop, and a hood. If i dont sell it, ill keep modding it. in fact, im thinking of painting it gold, and getting some chrome 19's, but that will have to wait another month or 2.
its a little too gaudy and overdone for my tastes... starting with the color, then to the hood scoops, the roof scoops, and the interior... just way too much going on for me. if you picked a more subtle color then contruction barrel orange (even maybe a nice metallic or sunburst orange or something like that if you're stuck on orange) and got rid of all the ridiculous scoops to smooth out the body lines a bit, i think it would be alright. right now it looks like you went on an online shopping spree with your credit card and didnt really think about what you were buying. sorry if thats harsh, but thats my opinion. and i know a lot of people here think subtle and clean is the way to go with J's. thats why cars like phewes get positive attention without bright colors or gaudy overdone exterior parts.
