My new interior...

Well, I haven't posted pics of my car for a while, so here we go:

I decided that I didn't like my interior anymore, so I changed it. It went from this:

... to this:

I bought new window cranks and painted the dash bezel semi-gloss black, getting rid of all the silver pieces that I painted last year. I personally like it a lot better; it looks less cheesy, I think.

If you noticed, I also put in a cell phone mount to hold my MP3 player. It took me 10 minutes to put it in, and it works freakin' great! (check out the pimp all-weather floor mats, too)

Well, it's not much, but I'm really bored right now...

Yea, I deleted the old picture from my registry, so it doesn't work (doh). Just imagine my interior now, except with silver around the radio, gauges, and HVAC.

Here's the mounting gooseneck I'm using for the MP3 player - Arkon Satellite radio mount (it's part number SR088-s). I took the square plate, screwed it to the back of the leather MP3 case, and I can slip the whole thing on and off in 2 seconds (I'll get a picture later).

The paint I used was actually a rustproofing paint for metals. I painted it at work (Advance Auto) and on the defective items shelf were two cans of it in semi-gloss black... so, I used them, and they worked. It was free, what can I say?

As far as the shift boot on the auto... it looks a hell of a lot better than having that skinny little metal rod holding up that big-ass shift knob.
