the PS2 has a power inveter obviously, the power inverter is just big enough that when slid in above the PS2 in the glovebox its a tight enough fit to hold both into place. The power inverter is hooked up to a cigerette lighter extension cord that hard wired in to the cigerette lighter on the passenger side of the center consil. which is just switched on the ground side. So its always hooked up and the inverter is always on but with no gorund connection nothing works, you flip the switch and it grounds the circuit and it all works. My only problem is a cheap cigerette lighter extension cord, ocasionally the invertor will work its way out and I have to re plug it in but no big deal. The cover around the PS2 is nothign special, I hade a cardboard template and cut it out on 1/4" MDF, lined it up didn't fit, took a belt sander to tweak edges hear and there and made just big enough that its held in place by friction, made the clearances very very very small so it fits tight and holds itself. It has not once came off from driving or bumps or people poking at it, opening and closing the glovebox ect.. it always stays in place. Then i added a few LED's and carpeted it, I cut the carpet just slightly oversized, about 1/16"-1/8" all the way around so it apears to fit perfect and be completely flush and exact all the way around. The carpeting was the stuff I had left over from another project, my trunk liner..
