what happened to the widebody?
crap u people guessed what i am doing.... well seeing if i can do it. if the steering doesn't give me any crap then i'll be ok. of course that darn a/c has to go and some supports for the steering wheel need to be welded in and things of that nature. hopefully this will be a success.
as far as the widebody... what was on the car was scratched. gave me good practice and an idea of how to work with the glass. i'm still going to do widebody and full custom one off exterior. but it was in the mid 90's for a while and i do all my work outside
so it takes me a while. car should be done within 2 years.

Looks good, and with the steering I found the Knuckles for you but there about $60 each, check tractor supply places thats where I got mine!
And if you remove the heater core then make SHURE you drain the AINTIFREEZE Before Openeing Fluid filled lines in the car!
Figured it was center drive right away. What are you planning on doing about the center 'hump' and passenger seats?? IMO, buckets in back w/ a center console that goes right up to the back of your seat may look pretty cool. I've thought about CD for my car, but being a 4 door..... it would just look goofy. Good luck on the work tho

Dude, if you can pull this off, youll be my hero. If you can i think you should put a passenger seat on each side of the driver. Check out the Mclaren F1. Its center drive as well. Very cool mod, im sure it will be a trick getting in to the drivers seat.
if your serious about the center drive, do some work with the hump and floor pan. good luck man

i was inspired by the mclaren and the show cars by alpine. i am goin to see bout the seats on each side and if i don't have enough room i may just put 2 nitrous bottles there instead
i got a lot more work before i can move the steering wheel and pedals. ogtta get that darn a/c out and figure some steering things out. this is great fun it makes my head hurt sometimes.

Hmm... take it a little further and chop the roof off?? Permanent convertible kinda? There's a guy out here chopping the top off his Sonoma flare-side. He's gonna chop the top off, rake the windshield back after taking like 4" off of it, weld the body solid so there's no breaks - just curves - and the hood will still open (dunno if he's doing tilt-forward or leaving it stock). He's already done some fix-up body work on it, cut the bed innards out, and has it on air.
