Hey guys as most of you know ive been working hard to get my car completed. Well on August 19th the day of indy's ITB I finally got it completed. I dont have detailed pictures but here is some that a club member took. The hood is a carbon fiber hood painted over with tribal graphics. I will have more detailed photos up within 24 hours.

Let me know what you guys think of the new and improved car.

Thanks,

Derrick Hudson

Yes I do agree it needs bags.. thats why air ride suspension is next on my list. I wanted to get the interior and the exterior completely done first. Now that I have scored a sponsorship with Aplusperformance I am definatly saving up for air ride suspension.

The engine is also very nice to. Ill have detailed pics of the interior, engine, and the hood up by tomm afternoon

THanks for the possitive comments.. o and the pictures hardly do this paint job justice in the sun.

so, are you gonna jump on the bandwagon and sell it now since you put all the work into it? (that annoys me).

j/k though..... looks really good

I like the hood a lot! it flows really nicley with the car. The headlights are wicked looking too. I tink black corners woudl be too dark up there.
The shaved handles look good, but why did you get new sides? If they used to be molded liek in your sig why'd you change em?

I didn't see your car up at truck bash... I don't think you saw mine on friday but I was like, at the very corner of the main roads. next to the judging... your car looks nice.

Looks real nice from the pics above. I'd like to see the interior once you're done gettin them. those doors look a little plain with the body kit at the bottom just stopping on each side. and definitely stay away from a big wing.

Very very nice lookin cav i must say. I do have to agree though Air Bags would finish it off perfectly. Even just a 2in drop would do the trick.. Either way great job on the car...it looks hot

Everyone with a 95-02 CAVALIER who wants aftermarket FENDERS take note!! Those the only ones I've seen that actually flow with the car! Looks amazing man, excellent choices.

haha yeah what the hell are people thinking.. no I myself am keeping this car for a very very long time. Ive put way to much hard work effort and money into this project.

I will have pictures up this afternoon so you can see how nice the hood graphics are. I do agree to the black corners would be to much. See the black headlights match the carbon fiber tribal design on the hood so in person it flows really nicely. The side skirts are still the same ones i previously had on there. Taking off that molded body kit and taking the side skirts back to normal was a biotch. The reason I took off the molding is because it was cracking out. Eventually with molding your body kit, it will eventually at some point and time down the road crack out. The whole thought behind redoing my car is, Once its done its done!!. Im tired of forking out money to the exterior paint to get it looking show quality.

Thanks.. The interior looks really nice Im really happy with it. Also It does look kinda plain but theres nothing much I can do about it. I could buy the door skins but I really dont like how they are attached to the car. O and yes I love this car w/ out a wing. It looks so clean w/ the shaved inner tails and no wing.

Like erik said those are my STOCK fenders. definatly one of a kind!! we just took the fenders and cut a straight line and the curved line. Then we took a metal plate and welded it in at the above straight line cut. I will get closer pictures of the fenders also.

No doubt.. Im trying, It takes money to save up especially once you drain about 3500 into redoing the exterior

Like before stated I didnt want them to eventually crack out. Im tired of messing with the exterior of this car. I cant wait to start working on the engine/suspension this winter
