Well i was bored and looking through some old pics so i thought i would make a post on the evolution of the Z
2002 --When i first got it.. boy if it only knew what it was gonna go through lol
2003 --First up was clear corners, 18's, eibach sportlines, koni's, and eibach front and rear sway bars
later shaved mouldings and that was about it for the first year of modding
2004 --over the winter it went through alot of changes and came out looking like a differnt car, wings west kit, carbon fiber hood, toyota fenders, toyota tails, ect.. and converted the tan interior to charcoal with racing seats
That fall it got toyota corner lights and i decided to sell the 18's they were way to heavy and i need a change, rolled on the stock wheels for a few weeks before it was parked for winter
that brings us to last winter, at that point i was tired of the slow cavalier and actualy decided to sell it and buy a Fbody... well that didn't work out, a couple of deals fell through at that point i figured i might as well keep it
So over the coarse of the winter after i realized i was stuck with the cavalier i decided if i cant get a faster car ill just have to make the cavalier fast!! it was about that time me and a friend started ripping it appart to build a custom turbo kit for it!
After a couple of months of cursing and swearing working on it it was complete, and makes me glad i ended up keeping it the first time it left the garage in several month, with its new light weight 17's on
and the completed motor
And the rest are just a few random pictures of it out, and me loving every minute of the booooooooost
and that about brings it up to date, should have some dyno numbers and track times for it in a few weeks and other than that its for the most part done for the next year at least since i am now going back to school, once im done school who knows what will happen with the Z but for now im driving it and having alot of fun with it
great progress with the Z man. it really lokks good. what size rubber are you runnin with your 17's? I thought 18's with a 2 inch drop but you mentioned that they were heavy.
oooo boost yummy

Always have loved your car, so simple and clean, yet perfect at the same time. If I could do it all over again....yada yada yada......
yeah, I loved the first set of rims on your car... but I guess you can't really go wrong by going lighter.
I work on Wall Street, but didn't force you to take out a loan you couldn't afford.
love the turbo...nice work
Big Mouth Rules!
I love this car and that engine bay! Its one of my favorites for sure! Turbo set up is very clean and well done! I've always thought about painting my mesh black like you did to yours. I wish I have money for a turbo and intercooler to fill in my front bumper!
Keep it up!

i have 225/45/17 tires and its lowered on eibach sportlines
ya i liked the look of the 18's but i think the 17's suit the car better, plus the 17's are over 10lbs lighter, it made a huge difference in performance and handling just by getting the new rims.
and thanks for all the good comments
Love it man, cant say anything anybody else hasn't said.. Keep it up.. Glad you kept it..
