The Cav, beginning till now...

Well some people have asked to see what my car looked like when I got it. Here is the story of this car. I bought it for less than $900 from a fellow member of the JCO about 5 months ago. It was in need of some love, but I didnt care, i was back in a 3rd gen and driving stick again, so I was happy. The first thing it needed before it could even drive was a clutch. I thought, well since i have so much apart, why dont i drop it more than 3 inches? Bad idea, rode like ass, but looked cool. This is the first pic I got of it, looking awfully stock except for the drop...

I drove around like that for a couple months until I couldnt take the ride anymore, so I threw on a set of Sportlines and newer struts.
What you cant really see in that pic is the rust and just how bad it really was. I drove around for a while with the rust, but I couldnt stand it anymore. So I drove out to Toms (Crazy) house and we dedicated a weekend to fixing it.
This is what the passengers side looked like...

And the drivers side...

New piece welded in on pass side...

Filled, primered and painted...

The same was done to the drivers side.
So I was driving home pretty happy with the turnout of the weekend. But I got home and realized that I still had black RK Sport Import Fighter front and sides sitting around and couldnt let em go to waste, so I threw them on with the 3rd Gen Rims I had, looked like this...

The very next day I went and picked up Mikes (Dizzy) old Z rear, painted it black and installed it along with A Ractive muffler I got from him aswell, I think it turned out looking pretty good.

Well I was happy, and I honestly thought I was done, untill I came across a deal I couldnt resist. Someone from a different club I am affiliated with put up a Carbon Fiber Extractor hood for sale. So I jumped at the chance since that is the hood I have been lusting over since I first saw it.

And that is what it looks like now. I have one more surprise that is still being worked on, hopefully I will get a chance to finish it off soon. I will give a hint though, notice how there were no shots of the rear in the new batch of pics
Well leave comments good or bad, I can take em

Well your car was one of my inspirations. Hence me pulling you aside before leaving the RSM show to get a few pics of your car by itself!!
