Yeah, my best friend Bryan Festa (Encriptor) called me up and asked me if I wanted to go to a show in his town (Middletown, NY) so I said alright. It was hot as balls but I stayed as long as I could.
There were mostly old muscle cars but I went anyways and they showed us some respect.
I had to leave early and Bryan called me and told me I won "Best Non-Historic"
I was happy I atleast won something...too bad I wasn't there to accept it.

Looks good. glad they actually had a class a sport compact could leave with.. usally at local shows round here its likebest show, best car, best truck and the cars are mostly old classics and the judges are old so they always win.. i like classics but when some sport compacts have more work and look nicer they deserve some notice... and glad you got it.. your car is hot.

The vette is a 64. I know that has a 65 hood on it, but the 64 was re-painted and we didn't have a chance to put it on. (advantage to spare parts
).
The show was pretty good, unfortunatley not as many cars showed up as usual, but it was a very hot day and there was also a very large show south of my town that most of the usuals went to.
There are actually about a 25% turn out of non-historic vs historic at these shows that is why they have a trophy for it, they realize that this is where the times are going and that even the newer cars should be given respect.
The intake on the black car is not dryer hose, it is intake wrap to keep the temperature down of the air coming in, you may also notice that there is a cold air box, and a connection from the box to the ram air hood. The intake is the secret weapon and combining all of these did make a significant difference to the cars performance.
Oh yeah and one last note, it was Middletown,
NJ not NY.

Hey Njs just buy some nxt generation quick detail by meguiars(sp) thing works wonders. I bought a bottle and im not buying anything else, all the classic car owners were asking me what i was using they thought it was some 20 detail and you should have seen the expression on their faces when i said it was meguairs(sp). It also leaves a nice waxed look. Try it you wont be disapointed. Car looks great by the way

Actually right now if I wax my car, I use Meguiars Tech Wax. It comes out pretty good but when I'm done with it, I'll check that one out.

It was funny cause there was this old Mitsubishi Eclipse (mid 90s) with a body kit but it was not painted and the front bumper was being litterally held up by strings with a 2-3 inch bap between the bumper and the headlights...it was aweful.

Well Adam was invited cause he asked me what I was up to and my parents asked me if I wanted to go to the car show so we quickly decided to all go. You could have come, it is every Saturday night from 6:00 - 9:00. This weekend though is a JJ meet so I won't be there even though they are having a live band.

Festa's hood is always open....Esp. at the track....everyone comes over and looks and sees that its stock and quickly gets confused. DJ, we should have gone....o well.
