Ok, just wanted to post a poic of my car after i got it back from the body shop after alittle more than a month to get the damage fixed, and the new fiberglass parts installed and looking good.

The hood and fenders flow well, but not with the kit. Paint looks shiny though! And I really like the rims.
yeah i do love how well the hood and fenders flow, i like the kit, i had a hard time deciding what kit to put on the car, i didnt want anything to aggresive, and i wanted urethane, although now i wish i had gone fiberglass so i could mold in to the car easier.
The fit on the fenders and hood isnt bad but it isnt that good either, its a 20 footer for sure. But yes the paint is much better than before the wreck. I need to wash and wax it real good, then it will shine.
What kit do you think would flow well with the hood and fenders???

Yeah i thought about that, but it seems everybody has the Bomex kit or a knockoff of the kit, and i wanted something different, althought there are quit a few j's with the WW big mouth or avenger kit, they look very similair. But not with the hood and fenders.
The other thinkg im not sure about is the side molding.
Should i keep it or shave it off????

man the hood is the @!#$ if you ask me, i seen this on a cav like a year ago and knew someday it would be on my car, just wish it had better fit thats all.
I think im going to keeo the moldings, i like the look they give and the needed protection from door dings.
Also, i have some SLR mirriors going on, and will be doing a sliding ragtop in the near future.
I also want to take the mesh in the bumber and have it painted or powdercoated white, i think that would look sick as hell.

the fenders arent bad, but im not big on aftermarket fenders.. maybe z3s but past that its hard to pull it off

Love the kit, its my second choice for 00 cavs.. I dont think the fenders look too bad.. but i do think u should ditch the moulding cuz to me they kinda ruin the fender vents.. and i think the fender might look better if u got a different hood.. ive never really be a fan of that hood but if u got Turbosport i think that would look nioce.. I have to agree with bryan.. ditch the white wheels.. when i had my old red 00 i wanted white rims at first but they just dont look right to me.. gunmetal or black with a polished lip just looks so nice on em.. and this kinda goes for teh mesh too.. dont paint the mesh white.. paint it black or leave it silver..
Overall its a nice car.. makes me miss my 00 2200..

Nice car, but the gawdiest hood ever molded!
Yeah, i thought about the type j kit also, but price kept me from buying it, got the WW kit for alot less than the RK kit.
Red car + White wheels is the bomb, you are crazy if you think it looks like ass.
I may change it in the future, but its going to stay the way it is for now, im out of money to spend on it, and now i have to do some custom work to the Erebuni SLR Style mirrors to get them to look right on the car, instead of poining to the sky.

Sorry I have to agree with Dirty Elf here, the hood ruins the car. The rest of the car looks great. Very clean and shiny. I like it other than the hood.

Looks sweet! I love the red and white wheels combo. The hood is alright. I see you did the headlight conversion to 00-02. You should get a rear bumper to line up with the kit better. Anything else can't beat the quality of WW Big Mouth.
Take off the side moldings and you can protect them by parking the car far away from the others! Also I love this quote!

just my 2 cents..... the car is nice. I like the way the fenders and the kit flow together but i'm not big on that hood only because of the size of the nostrils. I think that if the nostrils were cut down to about half the height that they are now it would look so much better.
