You should go on a spree till you find the dirty mofo that messed up your car, and then dent thier face. Alex-style...

looks just like my sunfire did....only i got so pissed i traded it in
Brian
pop it out, go in the trunk and smack the quarter panel, thats what i did, it works nice, it wont be perfect but will look a lot better
Dent Wizard serive can take care of that for you.
I had the exact same hit there, but it was on my gas door side. I could not get to it at all in my 03.
The cavalier dents and dings so easy. I dont even like leaning againts the rear quarter pannel. With any force you can easily flex the sheet metal.
That looks like a $500-$700 job in a body shop though, at least over by me.
Yeah it is gonna cost $1200.00 by a local body shop becuase when they repaint things they don't mask anything off, which means they will be taking the rear taillight out, rear bumper off, rear section of the side moulding off, and then the complete panel. So really I think all the money is in the labour. Oh and that's $1200 CDN so roughly $1000 USD. Luckily I have some nice parents because I asked them if it could be sort of a Birthday/Christmas present for the next couple years and they said yes but seeing as though my sisters Malibu just went in and had to have $1100 worth of brake servicing I don't think my panel will be fixed anytime soon. But thanks everyone for the suggestions on what I should do, I definetly like some of them
.
Just put a widebody panel over that.......have it painted.......and call it a day
hey you should be able to hit it on inside, but not with a standard hammer. something blunt..........maybe if you get inside the trunk and head butt it. hehehe.
don't think it would be that easy. looks like it's right there at the suspension.

Thankfully it didnt knock anything out of alignment suspension wise, I didn't think of looking at it from inside the trunk, I think i'll leave it for the professionals to deal with it, as much as I'd love to do it, I don't wanna risk messing something up.
In this picture it almost looks like a shoe print. Like someone kicked it.
New sig in the works
go inside the trunk like my previous post, and smack it with your hand, you're not going to make it any worse than what it already looks like, and you wont be able to notice the dents as much once the big one pops out, it wont do any harm to anything, just give it a good pop...
if it screws anything up, i'll pay you the damage lol
take some pics if you decide to give it a pop with your hand...

I'll try to pop it out, but I'm worried if the paint will crack, then i have a whole new problem to deal with. But like I said, i'll try to do it tomorrow if I get a chance, cuz i'm busy with Autocross all day tomorrow. I'll definetly post pictures after i've done it though.
ok awesome, i will be waiting, the paint wont crack, or anything like that, i'll be waiting

me too. That's all I did with my hood.
The accident
What the car used to look like
After I bent it back to shape (block of wood and my arms)
Not as extreme, but just showing that it did nothing to my paint.
Don't want to whore the thread, but I see those pictures don't really show the bend.
Well I tried to bang it out with a small rubber mallet and but I could barely get it to move, I found it tough to get some force behind the hammer due to lack of space. Any suggestions?
take a flat object u can get back there then use a stick or something and hit it with the hammer. it should come out pretty nice.

hmmm, with my sunfire, i just did the body on it again a few weeks ago, the dent was further forward than yours is, and i used my hand and it smacked right out, im guessing you can reach it very good with your hand?
www.DomesticTuners.com 'The Place To Tune Your Domestic'
Yeah I can reach it, both sitting in my trunk and standing outside with one arm inside and one outside. How far should you have to pull the lining out? I just did it up to where the strut is mounted, should I go further forward?
just yank the lining until you can feel the dent, and smack it with your hand..
dont be shy either, give it a good smack, and that dent is gone.
post up photos when its better
