seriously fix the rust ,change those doors for second gen p1 doors and replace the rockers and you will have a damn nice 1987 that will last a while!
No kits are made fo the 1st Gens. They are a dying breed, congrats on the find, if done right, 1st gens look hella sweet. I'd rather see a few 1st gens, than 100 totally trickedout 3rd Gens.
what the @!#$ do you guys expect out of an 18 year old car? kill the rust and classic jokes. maybe he's actually into doing RESTORATION instead of just putting brand new body kits on brand new cars with mommy and daddys credit card. when 50 year old men buy rusted 69 corvettes for a project car do they get made fun of? so the car isnt a 2005 shiney freshly waxed ferrari... let it go.
i bought it for when my 3rd gen. goes under the knife.
i would like to replace the doors and rockers though,
then spray the whole thing flat black
but its not a priority

put a cardboard body kit on it
i think it's nice, rockers and doors are about as bad as mine was, make sure the floor isn't rotted out though, and that looks like my old new yorker in the back ground lol

hey man fix the rust and throw some fresh paint and some tint on there and it will be a sweet ride maybe a set of Z wheels!
2009 Ford Mustang V6
that cavy brings back memories.. cavalier has been the first the car I have ever gotten a drive in, straight from the hospital... lol, my parents had an 86 base 5 spd.
I say fix it up, sand down/cut out the rust now , fiberglass, and prime it, just so it stops it. After that the fun can start. I really like how the windows in the back open up. I agree with The01Cav put some 95-99 Z24 rims on there. Tint the windows also, its gonna look so much better. Other than that its a classic!
I want it it reminds so much of my 84
