Well we've been working on the car for awhile but we haven't got arond to posting pictures. We are building a custom widebody and putting Celica taillights in. Also the doors are now shaved as well as the gas lid, antenna, and all locks. We are making a custom trunk lid to match the new quarters. other things that the car is getting is 3 tv's, dvd player, custom paint, 2000 headlight swap, new Drift front bumper, new Buddy Club 2 sideskirts, and rear end. Their is a ton more but on to the pictures
Here is a picture of what it looked like before...
Here are the progress pictures.....

omg thats soo much work, looks good please keep me updated
Thats insane and a lot of work, really sweet idea I like how it looks so far. If you ask me your gunna have to go real wide on the sides and in the front for it all to look good. but in one word. NOOOOOOICE!!!!!!!!
looks great so far, cant wait to see the finished project! good luck with it all!!
wow... Now THATS how you do a tail light conversion. Looks awsome man, keep us posted with more pics.
u had such a nice car before...gonna be tough to match it
doesnt look like a widebody
looks like a tail light conversion
looks good though
I'm going to agree that it is more a taillight conversion than a widebody. It does look great. The only beef I have with it is that it is EXACTLY what freakofnature did to his cavi... right down to the doner celica rear.
Something I was wondering though, why did you shave the door handles and get bondo on and everything already if you still have to run the wideebody into the door?
Either way, very huge props on jumping into such a huge project!

that is awsome man!
when i was scrolling down and saw the half celica.. i thought to myself "did he cut his cavy in half?"
Keep us posted!
I don't like tail light conversions, because it takes the car's identity away. But
props on the custom work.

i think what hes getting at is that hes goin to hafta do a widebody to make the body lines of the celica rear keep flowing through the rest of the car... props on the work man, its goin to look amazing!

agreed. its still very hot thought and its alot of work. its gonna turn out good
Nick thats looking good man...Keep us updated.
i always thought the celica and cavy looked like they fit that way
i wanna see it finished
I love the celica tails on the cavvy, i also have to agree that it's like a major tail light conversion than a widebody because the lower half of the car is still the same width, so if i were in your shoes i'd go WIDEBODY not so much a stock tail light conversion, but excellent job on the body !!! NEW SIG COMING SOON FOR 07'!!!

thats amazing cant wait to see the finnished product
That is some awesome talent right there. If I tried that my car would be junk. I don't understand how people can make two things look exactly the same(e.g.: left side matches the right side). It's gonna be sweet when finished...Jay
