why do people paint the ecotec vavle covers!?!?! POLISH IT and it will look a billion gazillion fafillaion times better than any paint

primer - $5
paint - $5
RTV Ultra Copper gastket seal -$5

then i needed some weather stripping because mt strut bar is rubbing -$5

that would be a grand total of $20

hhmmm..... Looks good riki, but i would try and maybe get a blue to match? Possibly paint the AEM CAI since that would be easier than removeing the valve cover again.

kk here is atempt # 2. Don't say that the colors don't match cause it is impossible to make them match using high temp paint ( I looked everywhere for a color that matched and this one is as close as it gets and it looks a lot better in person). As for the strut bar it was a bit loose dont know why though...

im still waiting for someone to chrome an ecotec... like woofer did with his 2.2. chrome valve cover, block, alternator, fuel rail. Then some nice colored plug wires and vacuum hoses, and braided stainless coolant hoses and fuel lines. Carbon fiber fuse block cover, throttle rotor cover, and coolant tank cover. Billet aluminum fill caps. All that put together would look ILL. somebody do it.
