Sunfire Vert. Nitrous Controll Center
Thursday, July 14, 2005 10:33 AM
So after getting back from the Bash I had a chance to get to work on my nitrous switches. Trouble was I didn't want a bunch of switches everywhere so I made a gauge pod and attached it to my radio bezel...

A little bondo. A little Chip Guard for texture. A little paint...

And a cool little switch center...

And always make sure things don't interfere (glovebox door still opens)...

Thanks everyone... Not necessarily looking for the stock look but definitely "The Subtle Look".

Brian; Nice to meet and talk you.

Haven't been on the track yet but I'm working my way towards it soon. I get the kids trying to race thing all the time 'til I jump on it and they here that supercharger whine.

I think it looks a little out of place.

Gary, it was great meeting and talking to you also, I got alot of interesting ideas, just standing next to your car.

Jeremy, it would have been great to get a chance to talk with you also, I did manage to run into you at the gas station...... got a 'hey Jeremy' out, before you hopped Todd's Ion, and went back to the hotel. lol. So much to do, so little time to do it. The bash needs to be longer.

Thanks Jeremy , it was great to meet you...

Cherub; It's kind of one of things you have to see in person to get the whole effect (kind of like the whole car especially the Ghost Flames that a few people walked by 4 or 5 times before they realized they where there)

Brian , Thanks again.

I'll take your word for it. I know the rest of your car is beautiful and I'm sure you wouldn't let something like this muck it up.

Looks very nice Gary! Now stop working on your car and work on all the molds you need to do so you can have "play" money for the sunfire

BTW Gary, guess what I just picked up? LOL

it does kinda look a little odd in the pics , maybe shoulda been 2 gauges instead of 1

im not a fan of that type if switch(from my alarm days) they tend end up like a 5spd shifter with bad cables , LOL and just wiggle around

over all though i think its a freakin sweet idea , and i like it

between you and me i think we do more work on karo's car than he does , LOL
