Well seeing as how the car is almost ready for the year I figured I'd let everyone see what I've been up to over the winter. Not many knew what was going on but the car under went some HUGE changes!And before anyone comments about crappy pics they were taken on my phone, I appologize.

This is how the car looked last fall before it went away for some beauty sleep.


And this is how it woke up from its sleep, still looks tired!


and this is the last time i saw it almost 3 weeks ago before my vacation to Ontario....enjoy I know i did when i saw it!







I shaved the spoiler & antenna and did an 04 Sunfire rear end conversion topped off with Streetfire rear, and did an 03 Cavalier front end conversion with Type-J front & sides. The mirrors & handles were also painted to blend in better, the car is still cayenne red.

The car is now painted and sitting in my dad's garage waiting for me to pick it up this wknd, I haven't even seen it in paint yet, but my dad says it looks awesome. I can't wait! More pics will follow early next week once I'm back at my place, it sucks living 5 hrs awa.../so close yet so far.

Now for the rest of the parts I have accumulated over the winter to go on and I'll be happy for the summer.

looking good, would have shaved the handles and locks myself while doing all that, but I can understand if you are going for a more race car etc why you wouldnt.

lol..ya Brad for some reason I can remember picking those parts up from somewhere..lol...the car is almost ready it painted now, and I'm pickin it up in Sydney on Saturday, I'll swing by the shop once I get it back to see your vert in person and show you mine..(hahaha i'll show you mine if you show me yours) then its just a matter of time & cash to wrap it up. I don't know when SCN Moncton is, but it may be ready for it.

I would have shaved the handles and all, but didn't want to lose all practicality of the car, or being able to run it on the 1/4, plus I may be moving back to Ontario in the next couple years and I hear horror stories about not passing safety inspections.

Brad i just checked the SCN website..i won't be able to attend that show because my holidays start 3 days before it and I'm heading straight to Ontario after work the day my leave starts (my daughter takes priority over a car show, I know you of all people will understand) but i'll swing by your shop for sure! Oh and thanks again for the deal on the hood & fenders! Worked out great

its sunday.... lets see some pics

just got home this afternoon from my dad's place....car is a mess due to the 4 1/2 hr drive in the rain but looks GREAT! i was pleased i'll go snap a few pics later but i have to clean the inside first its a mess! there is dust everywhere and stuff that i had been throwing in it all winter has accumulated into a big pile...but pics are coming
