Well I got my Vert Doors done finally...After a lot of swearin and grinding...I managed to make them work. Looks good but I am not very happy with the fact they ALWAYS want to go up when you open them, and it makes them hard to close from inside the car. Also has any one else ever noticed that GM doesn't like to paint the bottom of the door. I put up a pic so you all can see what I am talking about.
Oh, I know, I need to wash my car. I am gonna do that tomorrow....Enjoy...Jay

Looks good.
Yeah, the bottom of my doors isn't painted either. It's like a primer gray color, it's pretty obvious against the yellow.
looks really good, still wish i had the moeny to do that
i dont know what gm you guys deal with but my doors were painted and they are painted now even though gm didnt do my current paint job

Looks good man, hopefully I'll have time to throw mine on here in the next couple of weeks.
I may not be the sharpest crayon in the box, but at least I'm a pretty color
the bottom of my doors are painted
We must have bought defective cars I guess
If I had bought it brand new and it was like that, I would have taken back to the dealer....But like I said before, it'll get painted when my kit gets painted, so I'm not stressin it too much......Later, Jay

you have the wrong struts then. they should open and close fairly easily. sounds like your struts are too strong.

for the same money you coulda dropped your car right and possibly gotten wheels depending on what drop you went with

Every time I order parts I have problems with them, my body kit is perfect, except they sent the wrong front cover. I ordered z3 fenders last fall, tried to put them on and there is a 1 1/2" gap between the fender and the door, and they wouldn't line up with the front bumper right. I need to save some more money for my air ride, and I actually started with my interior, not the exterior....Wheels will come next spring...REMEMBER, Everyone has to start somewhere....Some just do it different....Later....Jay

no, they should be the first. when you add the doors to a kit or fiberglass fenders you have to adjust them and i would personally rather @!#$ up my factory @!#$ rather than a painted/ molded kit and fenders. at least before the kit and all go on you know if your going to mess sumthing up or not so you can prenvent it from killing an expensive kit and whatnot
