Had a show today at Hawkeye Downs in Cedar Rapids, was a great turnout nearly 200 cars for a first annual Calendar Car/Model Search.

Our class had about 8 people in it over 1/2 j's. Proud to say that JBOI took home the 3 tropheys for the class. Places go from left to right, left being first.

I was lucky enough to be picked as one of the cars to be featured in the calendar for 2006 also.









Figured it would be good to shoot with the 3 of us in there as people rolled out of the lot.

Let me get this straight? That z24 took first place and you took 3rd?
All three cars look good but I think out of those 3 you should of had first. Got anymore pictures of the show?

I will post the other pics up a little later tonight, there was alot of custom work through the show, and yep thats correct, the glassed interior is wicked, cant wait till I get done with mine for sure.

Todays show was a blast. I got a wicked tan line though, haha. Congrats again on placing, it felt good for the three of us to take home the 3 trophies! I cant wait to see your car in the calendar, should be a pretty sweet calendar!!!

Cant wait until your interior is done! Should be 1 of my top 3 favorite interiors on the org!b

is that like the home of the wire wheels? about 90% of the cars in the background have the 100 spoke rims

Congrats Jeff and Nate~ The show was really fun. It was the first show I have entered so it was cool to get a big ol' trophy If i was judging though, Jeff woulda got my trophy. Jeff you have such a nice car! ohh and the spoke rims are because the lowrider class was right behind out class.

Its nice having the kinda people around here we do that enjoy the younger crowd more so than just hotrods, nice to see alot of newer stuff. Especially some of the older cars or things you would normally see older people driving, with a twist of new.. the pics will explain a little more when I get them resized

nice turnout and cars too. we just finished a show and there was 5 j's we all placed but not 1st. we did get "outstanding club participation"(texas j's) award that we all signed. so we represented here too
