I picked up this Cavailer from Jason at A+ this past Sunday, It’s a major project car. He started almost everything so the body just needs to be finished and then we can start on the motor and interior work.
As soon as I got back I started to tear into it. Here is how it sits now:
Gas Filler relocation:

Nope, it is sitting way up high on factory Z24 springs and KYBs.
It was fun driving it home watching all the people on the highway point and laugh
Thats an awful lot of filler to mold that bumper.

I second that.. I would rip all the bodywork out before painting. Mainly b/c i wouldnt trust it, and you can visually see there is BONDO brand filler used on the back bumper.
Looks like FUN, just needs a little love.

Your not kidding. I'm not sure I like the rear or the sides anyway so it probably won't matter.
I can't wait to sand the crap out of that. It may look like crap now but it rides like a cadillac.....lol.

What are your plans for it?

What are your plans for it?
The plan is for it to be a weekend racer in Auto-x events. As soon as the body work is done (which is a long way away) I’ll get the roll cage, racing seats, harness, and custom dash made. The engine will just have basic bolt-ons.
I am hoping for it to be ready to run next March when all of the driving schools start around here.
I fiberglassed the rear bumper today, because I hate how it has that inset where the licence plate goes. Still a lot of work to do:
its already looking better though man....!
