dude, that's not a "short throw" auto shifter, there is no such thing. That's shortened auto shifter. short throw refers to the distance between gear shifting. i'm not flaming on you, just educating.
It looks good. I did my auto like that. first,I think they look retarded at stock hight, but mostly because the shifter got in the way to changes cd's while in park (it's was a 98 so the cd player was under the HVAC controls)

Where'd you get that shift knob? the only auto knobs that i've seen are the long cylinder type ones.

For the 01 cav does the face plate for the shifter pop out? is that how you have the 5 speed console is by removin where is says p r n d 3 2 1? I want to take that out and get a 5 spd boot and put in it's place and shorten my shifter. is there any detailed pix for a how to do on this?
