So, after buying this amp off a friend for $30, I figured I'd come up with something interesting to mount it with. I think I did a pretty good job. This is my first amp install EVAR!
on with the pics.
Kinda looks like it's just floating there, eh?
Don't worry, that duct tape will be gone when I finish the plastic covers that go there.
You won't be able to see those wires either.
All I can say is it's night and day from when the speakers weren't amped. I sometimes get asked what subs I have. I just love saying 'None, it's those 6x9's' lol.
good job. i plan doing the same thing but with all four speakers. i think i'll put my amp under the passenger seat. do you make the mounting brackets?

looks good to me!!!
clean and...well...just clean looking, haha
Did it all myself. It's aluminum, I think it's 1/8" I'm gonna get the 4x6's hooked up to it when I find the time. Maybe today, since I don't have to be at work until 4.
interesting idea certainly saves some space

Well, Ben, I was going to keep my sub install under wraps for a while, but since you made that comment: Keep in mind, this is nowhere near done, so please, no bad comments. The setup is with 5 12" subs. Yep you read that right:5 12's! Only one progress pic..... see below
Bahaha got you good.
just wondering where you got mounting brackets or did you make them cause they look flawless

^well thank you sir. It's a single piece of 1/8 or 3/16" alminum. Did it myself. All it is really is 4 90 degree bends.
